  1. Yay!! Congratulations on booking your photographer!! I'm so happy you found one whose work you love and would work with your budget. Looking forward to seeing the pics from your wedding!!
  2. That is too cute! I would've laughed too while dressing him up, if I were you. Here is my little baby. For some reason, she can't figure out that she needs to pee outside, so she wears a diaper....it was either that or she had to find a new home. Here she is, her name is Schatzi...aka Diapers!
  3. Adding two more... www.perfectbridal.com www.rkbridal.com I found the lowest price for my gown at perfectbridal and bought it at RK for 5% less than the lowest quote I received.
  4. Hi Nancy ~ Welcome!! Let us know how we can help you!!
  5. Welcome!! You're in good company here with other Cancun and Dreams brides!! Lots of great info shared and everyone is really helpful.
  6. Welcome to the forum! You've come to the right place for advice and ideas!
  7. If anyone else is planning to incorporate a child in their sand ceremony and would like some smaller, 4" pearlized nautilus shells, I have 3 extra ones that I'd be willing to sell for what I paid for them $6.50 each plus shipping. Let me know if you're interested.
  8. I wish I had an opinion to share on this. At least now you have an explanation of each. I never knew the difference except that the mariachi had more members. You probably wouldn't go wrong either way. I'll be curious to see which way you go and why.
  9. Welcome Amanda. You'll find lots of great info here!

That's why when I saw 2 dresses on sale at Macy's in the right sizes that would work for my wedding, I bought them. I spent $59 each instead of $179 each. So, I don't think it's weird that it's not as important to you as other areas of your wedding.
  11. I was just thinking about that myself...how I spend so much time on here and I could be doing other wedding related stuff. We'll both pull through and get it all done! Just think, all that OT means no debt after the wedding!!! Have a great night! I'm off to bed...
  12. Thanks Sarah. You're making me feel better. IMO, you've still got plenty of time. I'd help you with all your to do's if you lived here in San Diego.
  13. Thanks for the post Stephanie! I've been putting off thinking about the music because it feels so overwhelming! This will make the task a little easier....thanks again!!

I want to do the labels with the water bottles, but I actually don't know how much a bottle of water costs. I am only curious b/c I want to start estimating my budget. -Glenda We bought a case of water from costco while in Cabo last summer. I don't remember the exact price, but I do remember that Arrowhead brand water was more expensive than it was here. The costco brand water didn't seem unreasonable to me ....about the same cost as here. Hope this helps a little.
  15. I love this forum! it is so nice to have people sharing ideas. I love the idea of the photoframes with pics of the guests to take home. What a great suv. That's great that you're going to be able to bring a load of wedding stuff with you in Feb. to leave at the Hilton. I wish so much that I could do one more trip down there before my wedding. Your wedding is going to be amazing and your guests are going to have such a great time! Thank you for sharing!
  16. Those look great!!! I was a little nervous about the idea of using a black background, but after seeing your bags....the nerves are gone! Those look fantastic and your logo is adorable!! You are way ahead of the game girl!! ....I'm starting to think I need to get movin'..... you and Natalie are both on the ball (OOT Bags, table runners, chair sashes, luminaries, t-shirts)......I'm hoping that you two are ahead of schedule and that I'm just on schedule! I feel like I need to get busy!!
  17. I really like the contrast of the black and fuscia. What a great deal on the panels! I love a great deal! The luminary photo frames are really cute too....I like how they glow in a sepia color. A couple of questions for you: 1. Are you putting photos of you and your FI in the frames? Or, photos of your guests/family, or both? 2. How do you plan to transport the glass candle holders to Mexico? 3. How many guests are you expecting? (I'm sure you've mentioned this piece of info somewhere else) I've been meaning to go to Ikea to look for bar table centerpiece ideas. Thanks for making want to go NOW! PS. you're lucky to have a FI who is interested (and helpful) in the way the table looks!!
  18. Welcome. You'll find a lot of "How to" tips here... http://bestdestinationwedding.com/forum/t1414 This is my first time on a forum too. You'll get the hang of it. If I can answer any questions for you, please let me know!
  19. Welcome Tracy. You've come to the right place for help and advice!! Let us know how we can help you!
  20. Welcome Leslie!! You may want to try to contact Maye Cortinas. She is a wedding coordinator in Cabo that a lot of girls on this forum have used. Her email address is [email protected] She can help you coordinate the legal ceremony and perhaps take some stress off of your shoulders. It wouldn't hurt to inquire. There is also another Cabo WC on this board...i think her screen name is Cabo Wedding Coordinator ? I think it is a great idea to plan a special wedding for the two of you while in Cabo next month. Let us know how everything works out!!
  21. Welcome! It sounds like everyone has covered your photographer question. Let us know who you decide to use!
