  1. I'm actually trying to save some $ on this part, so we're going to have a "drop-in" welcome reception in our suite at the resort....maybe just cold appetizers (but I'd like to do hot tacos) and lots of beer and margaritas. I'm a little nervous about how it will go. Sorry, I know this doesn't really answer your question. From what I've read, lots of people have done their welcome receptions/dinners off of the resort grounds. My only concern in doing this was transportation.....seems like it would be a pain...but, some bride's don't provide the transportation. We briefly considered doing a booze cruise, as a welcome, but then decided against it.... okay, sorry started to ramble a bit.....
  2. I really like this one... Bluefly - New designer dresses at discount prices at Bluefly.com - #2044104 - Shoshanna crème silk flower strapless gown Thanks for posting, Ann!
  3. Welcome! You'll find lots of great info about planning a DW in Cabo here! Let us know how we can help you! Happy Planning!
  4. I voted for number 2 and I haven't looked at anyone else's comments (yet). I like that you are both facing the camera in the big picture on the second one, that's the only reason I picked it, because option #1 looks great too....okay, sorry if I wasn't any help.
  5. Sarah seems to always win......she's one of the lucky ones!! btw, I really needed those 2000 pts I won yesterday....I'm point poor
  6. I'm glad to hear that they look real....I was afraid that they would look plastic and fake.
  7. Jill, Works for me if Tammy doesn't want it back to keep. I think that is a fun idea.
  8. Be sure to post pics!! Wanna come to San Diego and make my tablerunners after you finish yours? LOL
  9. We're doing a CD for the OOT bags, but I haven't started to make a list of the songs yet (beyond a mental list). here are the songs that are coming to my head: Sammy Hagar -- not sure which ones yet, but probably Mexico, Livin' on the Coast Line, and The Way we Live (this song references Cabo in the Fall). Van Morrison - Brown Eyed Girl Brad Paisley - She's Everything I'll post more as I think about them....my FI is supposed to be making a list too, but I think his is a mental one too so far.

Pre-natal vitamins are great too for hair and nails.... I'll probably go with fake nails for the wedding and then cut them off afterward. I hate the idea of spending the money for bi-weekly manicures if I'm not certain it's going to work and then wind up having to get fakes anyways.... How funny....my left thumb nail curves in on both sides.....When I wear acrylics, they start to lift (I think because of this)....Drives me crazy!
  11. I'm planning to make my tablerunners 12" wide. I don't think I'd want them any wider than that. The chair sashes..this one Amazon.com: Silver Wedding Chair Sash: Kitchen & Housewares is 7 or 7 1/2 inches wide....I think it looks nice. Hope this helps!
  12. THANK YOU, TAMMY! You're the best!! did I get the right color blue....heehee.
  13. I love white House Black Market! I just got an email that they're having a sale of 50% off some of their clearance items, but there weren't many things I liked in my size.

PM me and let me know how much I can send you and your address....I want to at least share the cost with you. By the way, I think I would feel more comfortable if you gave it to Maye.....She seems a bit more organized....Thanks again!
  15. I vote for number 2 too. I like that it is more form fitting.....where is it from?
  16. I love those! I want the starfish one! If you plan to use them, how many are planning to have in your bouquet?
  17. Anny ~ Your fans look great! The ribbon is really pretty on them. Thanks for sharing!
  18. oh, so guess my idea doesn't work....hmm...did you email her and ask her opinion? She would probably have a good opinion on the idea since she makes beautiful cakes all the time.

I just printed everything and assembled them into the card and save a ton of money! TIP: If you are set on a certain solid color cardstock, go to Staples or Office Max where they sell 150 sheets for $5.00. I wanted yellow cardstock 12 X 12 at Michaels for $.59, and at Staples a 8 1/2 X 11 same color was $.16. It is worth checking out!!! Then just go to Kinkos (for free) and use their paper cutter! I had a lot of fun being so involved with the invitations! jennifer Great tip Jennifer! Thanks!
