You're funny! I think the acrylics would "stick". Have you ever had them before? Don't get them if you don't think you'll want them for your wedding...it takes forever for your nails to grow out and the acrylic really ruins your nails.

Maybe you could bring the orchids and the candies and then you could make a last minute decision before the cakes are placed on the table. It's hard to picture exactly what it is going to look like. Sorry, I'm not much help.

My mom told me to start taking MSM supplements to improve my hair and nails. She swears by it. You might want to be careful about getting manicures too frequently.....if I do, my nails become weaker and more brittle. I'm considering doing acrylics for my wedding....but, I still haven't decided for sure.

If I were you, given the size of the cake and the flower, I would just do a flower on top and skip the candy....sometimes less is more.

Hi Jason, I'm getting married in Cabo, but here is a copy of the questions I asked my WC and her response. It might be helpful in answering your question. If we do get legally married in Mexico, is the process easy? Will you have everything set up for us and tell us exactly where we need to be and when? Can the legal details be done earlier in the week before our Saturday wedding? Yes, all the legal documents are done before and even the ceremony can be done before Saturday, I can ask the judge to come to your room and we do the wedding there. In order for your marriage to be legal in the States, I would suggest that you call your City Hall or where it is that you go to change your name and ask them if you will need an Apostille for the marriage certificate and a translation or just the translation. Sometimes some States in the United States do not require anything and sometimes they do. I take care of everything, you do not have to do it, only depending on the State we have to spend more money in translating or Apostille the documents. Hope this helps!

I vote for #2. It looks fantastic on you. The gathers at the waist are very flattering as is the diagonal direction of the lacy part. Very pretty!!
