  1. He really is wonderful to work with - very professional and hard working (and nice!). We had our images on disc delivered to us in person on our honeymoon, which was a real treat. Christa used him also if you want to see more of his pics (she is a senior member of the forum). He is a member of the forum, too, I think...
  2. great review! And your pics are so pretty...nice job Robin! That sucks about the tipping issues. There were times in Cabo I felt that way too and it really weighed on my mind. Like you don't want to be stingy or ungrateful but cmon we are already spending A LOT of $$ here!
  3. check out Bradley Fraser Cabo Wedding Photography, Los Cabos, Cabo San Lucas Photographers, Cabo Weddings
  4. welcome! we loved our wedding in Cabo and I am sure you will too. Let us know if you need site suggestions or ideas...
  5. I think it depends on a lot of things, really. For us, I enjoy just being married and sleeping in and traveling and all the things you do less of when you have a kid, so I don't mind waiting. Also, we just bought a house and we really do not have the financial freedom to be having kids and not freak out about the bills. Also, we are far away from my mom and I always pictured having her there to help...so it's a lot of things. But someday hopefully all of those will go away and we will be READY! In the meantime I just try to spend time spoiling my friends' kids and my new baby goddaughter
  6. yay! I am so glad you are getting what you want. I just went to a wedding last weekend and the groom was named Harrison! Awww little Cooper, he will be so cute I just know it!
  7. hmmm I think I like all the ones from your last trip better than the new ones. The older ones look more expensive (probably because they are, huh?)
  8. yes, I got my hair and makeup done there. Honestly, I had a bad experience, but I think it might have been a fluke. It's a really nice place and other girls have been happy there. It's REALLY $$$$. I just had a problem because the owner was scheduled to do my hair and mysteriously she was not there (she was not IN THE COUNTRY EVEN) "due to a death in the family" even though I had confirmed like 10 times AND paid ahead (incl gratuity!!). I felt lied to, but what am I going to do when I am getting married in 2 hours and my hair is not done!

    Baja Newbie

welcome! I got married there almost a year ago so I don't know how current my advice is, but I looooooooooved the hotel!
  10. Bradley works his butt off when he is shooting a wedding (in a good way) -- we did the jumping off the rocks thing too -- it made for some awesome pictures. I'm glad your wedding was perfect, but we must see pics!!!!!!!!!
  11. hmmm...I just went through this, so here are my tips: Throw out things you don't need/use. (or donate, of course). Don't move junk into a new house. Label each box clearly with the name of the room it needs to go into in the new house. Then if you don't finish unpacking every room, at least the box with the stuff you need will be in the room it belongs in. Ask your friends for help and buy them beer (or something) to thank them. More manpower is always good. Try to do a little each night?
  12. Just to give you an idea, I hired a "day-of coordinator" instead of a "planner" for $500 for the day. Maybe you need to get a bid just for help on the day of the wedding. (I was a really frugal bride but very happy that I hired someone for this)
  13. I can't see it...waaaaa waaaaa! (that's me crying). Can you upload any pics for us on the thread?
  14. Hi Bradley! Bradley shot my wedding and Christa's wedding at the Cabo Surf...it's great for small groups. My pics are in the link below.
  15. I guess I forgot to post mine. Thankfully it isn't great so I was not worried about actually winning! haha
  16. Welcome! We had 55 ppl at our wedding in Cabo. Started looking at villas and ended up at the Cabo Surf Hotel. Loved it! Check out my pics if you want to get a feel for the place.
  17. welcome! you might be our first 2010 bride??
  18. I think pairing it with red would look really modern and fresh
  19. For our "paper" anniversary next month, I got my husband an antique world map from 1907. Okay, so it's not the most romantic gift, but he's been mentioning that he'd like to have something like that framed in the new house and I like that it's old and unique and interesting to look at.
