I'm getting married on beach and am probably going to do either flowers or a seashell clip. But i personally don't like veils much.

If you were going to have a veil made of the lace, couldn't you have one made using the lace only on the edges? Use the regular netted as the rest? Just a thought....

I say do both but not at the same time. That is what I am doing. I am going to wear a veil for the ceremony and then take it off and put a flower in my hair for the reception.

Your dress is beautiful! I think a intricate veil would distract from the detailing in your dress. I think a veil would look gorgeous, but I would opt for a more soft, no detail one. With a plain veil, I don't know why you couldn't do the flower veil combo.

My dress has a TON of beading and details. I orginally fell in love with the lace veils (before I picked my dress) but I don't want my veil to distract from my dress. I spent too much time picking it out and agonizing over my choices for that! haha.

I think I agree with Lexiee...this is your only time to wear a veil, so I'd say go with one for sure. Your dress is SO beautiful and has a lot of detail so something simple would look great.

I'm trying to figure out the same thing...

I'm leaning towards no veil with just flowers.

I'm not a huge fan of veils.. I'm just going to do a flower in my hair.. so that would be my choice but I'm biased! :)

I have seen that many ROR brides complain that it was super windy on their wedding day..

If you had to do your wedding day over again, would you opt OUT of having your veil??

Just curious, I have no love attachments to veils or anything, so I wouldnt be opposed to not having one..and if everyone says its super windy and they would rather not have one then I would reconsider and put that money towards something else!

                    Opinions?

I wore a veil and LOVED it. It was a bit windy but it made for some awesome pics!
