    It sounds like the GS in mexico is much better than the one in Punta Cana. That one has awful food reviews and quickly was removed from my list - i dont want my guest to remember my wedding because they got food poisoning

    Most venues do offer an indoor venue in case of wet weather but it may not be what you were hoping for - just remember you are getting married for love(hopefully) and your love is more than one day and one location - it is forever and everywhere

    There are alos website that allow you to rent a whole island and have your destination wedding/vacation there with all private service.

    Barcelo and Moon Palace are noth great options as they specialize in these wedding types Ocean Photo Studio works with Barcelo and do amazing work - they ar ethe only one you can use at Barcelo without paying a fee. I have read on here that there are less expensive options even with the Barcelo fee but their prices are fairly reasonable and allow you to tailor the package just as you like.

    Just try not to get pregnant down there and get tested when you get back - symptoms usually subside in a week and it usually passes in 2-3 month - get tested again and you are out of danger - it is not something that stays with you your whole life

    I dont think you get to have music at the semi-private dinners as they are in an a-la carte. You would have to ask your wedding coordinator/TA to check. Go out after but make it optional as to not let the older folks feel unconfortable about turning in early, you'll be pleasantly surprised how many will come along

    I would bump the cake cutting to near the end - let people get up and move after sitting through dinner and speeches

    Yes make sure you confirm with your venue that you have control over when you get to do them - I would end the first dance with a big BANG leading into the fireworks

    Oh no if everyone books PSAV the prices will go up - JK Glad to here it turned out well - Moon Palace is one of our many options (still havent chosen)

    it is the same on travel sites like Trip Advisor - everyone bashes the food and then a 5 star rating on it and everything was wonderful all within the same time frame. You really have to look into people who have no picture, are new or have questionable credablility - but who am I to say - I just joined today lol
