  1. You can get those barefoot sandals. Just like jewels that go around your feet and change into heels for your ceremony.
  2. I am wearing a huge princess style dress ( I know it's a bit much but its my dream dress). Anyway my hubby to be is wearing a gray suit, white shirt, tie and actually got a pair of sneakers to wear. So I will def be more dressed up than him.
  3. Love the idea of switching up different style bathing suits everyday to lessen risk of tan lines
  4. I am tanning before to get a good base tan and then will also be wearing strapless tank tops. I hope my bridesmaids will do the same so they aren't sporting tan lines.
  5. I will be back at 150, I really want to download the Who's Who template. What a great idea to recgonize everyone that attended the DW.
  6. @Mrsktobe I love the idea of a welcome book. If you wouldn't mind sharing with me as well. I get married just a few days after you
  7. My dog is incorporated on my cake topper. I am also including a small frame of her on my bouquet. She needs to be part of the special day too
  8. This is our cake topper!! From Karen Mudcards on etsy
  9. I did the same thing to incorporate my dog into my wedding day!! I ordered a cake topper with her. My mom is also getting a small frame to attach to my bouqet with a photo of her.
  10. Did you ever find a place to bring your dog? The one sad part of my DW is that my dog will not be there for the big day!
  11. Try looking on ebay for a belt that you want but may have been worn by another bride for a few hours. Some brides put their stuff up on ebay. This way you can find one for a decent price Def veil for ceremony and maybe change it to a flower for reception
  12. For our resort we will technically have 2 wedding coordinators. One I deal with now through emails. She is not the one that will be there for the wedding. Do I tip both? Or just the on site coordinator?
  13. Sarani has AMAZING work I can't wait to use her for my wedding day. I def think the splurge for a good photographer is important. It was a large chunk of our budget.
  14. I would ask about ceremony locations, selections of items for wedding, costs, outside vendor fees, etc.
  15. Definitely work with a travel agent. Mine have helped me so much along the way even with my ceremony locations at my specific resort. Travel agents also take the headache away from your guests bothering you with resort and flight questions. Definitely the right path to take! Each hotel will give you a Wedding Coordinator who will help plan the wedding.
  16. I know that you are married now, but I want to do the same thing for my guests in 2.5 months. Did you ever find a template??
  17. I would totally agree with this. There isn't much on their sites for cake selection. My WC told me to look online and pick a cake I like and send the photo and they will replicate it. But without seeing what they are capable of it really is taking a shot in the dark
  18. We have 5 bridesmaids and 4 groomsmen. Hoping for another groomsmen my fi just cant decide
  19. Thanks for the tip! I have been looking to go outside of the resort for a meal with my bridal party
  20. Your flowers are awesome! My mom is making all of our flower needs. The resorts out there are so expensive for flowers and this way I can keep my bouquet from the wedding
  21. Thanks for this fantastic post. It does feel sometime that my WC doesn't care about my wedding because she has so many and I am simply just another bride to her. It can be frustrating. Good luck with your future wedding
  22. Make sure your hotel allows rehearsals. I am getting married at the El Dorado Royale and they told me that I am unable to have a rehearsal. I was very upset once I found this news out.
  23. I saw some crazy looking spiders when I was in Jamaica, but Mexico always seemed to be ok
