It depends on the time of year and flight availability. I decided to go with July 2015 since it was cheaper for my guest (Halifax and Edmonton). However flying out of Toronto should be cheaper since you have more options. We are paying 1597$ for 7 days at the Ocean Coral

Once you recieve your first e-mail things should go smoother. I know have my questions answered after 2 days. Not as fast as Daniel. It says that you need to book a privilege or Dulexe jr suite room. Air Canada vacations is telling me that there is no such thing as a Dulexe jr suite. Anyone have any ideas? TIA

Walking alone is not wierd at all. It's your day You can choose somebody else close to you if you want if not I wouldn't worry about it.

We will be doing ours a few months later. We will stay with our friends and families for the week, however the day after the wedding we are doing our own thing away from everyone else ( not sure what this will be yet) We will then go on our HM somewhere tropical during the cold Alberta winter

We are doing some traditional parts and completely cutting out others. I'm still undecided about if my FI and I will see each other before the wedding. I love pictures so I'm worried that starting the pictures after my 530pm wedding may not give us enough light. (I'm not sure what time sun sets since I haven't been to Mexico during the month of July before.) My dad will walk me down and give me Away. At the end of the ceremony we will have our first dance and father daughter dance on the beach. I think this will be the perfect way for me so I'm done with being the centre of attention early on so I can relax and enjoy my evening We will take out pictures then go to our reception where we have decided to remove the head table and have everyone sit together. We aren't a big group so everyone will fit at 1 table. Once the meal is done we will cut and serve the cake. We won't be doing the garter toss or the flower toss since I don't enjoy either and we would only have 2-3 guest to catch it.

I have a few family members that feel this way. We will actually do the paper work once we return from Mexico. I hope this will make the wedding more real for the members that are worried

I feel your pain with not being able to get the right amount of guest to get the traveling perks. When I first decided on a DW I crunched numbers and confirmed with people that they would be attending. I felt very confident that we would have enough people to be able to get the 1 free person. Then one of my bridesmaid's and her family of 3 chose a different TA and few guest dropped out. At first I was disappointed but sadly it's out of our control. On the plus side I know have a smaller group of people coming to we will be saving money in the end. It will all work out

I've had the same problem. I've also tried calling and I haven't been able to talk to anyone.

If I was lucky enough to have a sister in law I would defiantly ask her to attend especially if she was in the wedding.

I don't think heals and flip flops will look strange. I was in my sisters wedding a few weeks ago and the MOH was in late flip flops and myself and other other bridesmaid wore heals and the pictures look great. I actually had to look back since I normally don't pay super close attention to feet

The thought of favors didn't even cross my mind for a second... It's a great idea but I don't think we will be doing any. Our AHR is more like a drop in open house type thing, nothing formal since my fiancé and I decided it defeats the point of our Mexican reception. That being said if we were having a formal AHR I would defiantly be doing favors

I will be wearing my dress for part of ours. We will be taking pictures with some "special" guest that weren't able to come to the wedding due to age and health issues and I know they would love to see me in my dress. This way we will be able to add those pictures to our wedding album. After that I will change into something better suited for a BBQ

That's exactly what I thought to. If I sent you an invitation it means I want you to be a part of my wedding. And it didn't matter where we decided to get married their would be flights,hotels, food, car rentals etc involved since we are both from different provinces. So a AI is much cheaper for everyone! I don't understand why people do that? It's my wedding so I think I should be able to decide some options I almost feel that since they aren't coming to the DW they want me to do all the most expensive parts of a at home wedding ( free meal or everyone). I'm so glad that people are being so supportive of your DW! It must make everything so much easier!
