I had my closest friends that I have here and my mom and grandma flew out ( just by chance, they surprised me). My friends were great they each had their phone and I was able to FaceTime with my sisters. It was an amazing experience and even if I really wanted my close friends and sisters with me, I wouldn't have it any other way. FaceTime was amazing and I was able to see their reactions, as for my close friends back home they will get to see my dress on our wedding day Good luck

@@JennyZ Jenny, I know exactly what you awe dealing with... My fiancé's parents and brother will not be attending the wedding along with a lot of my family. We have like you offered to help pay his families way and they will have none of it. His brother refuses to come because we are being disrespectful to their parents by not having an Alberta wedding, which needed to be in their home town. This caused us a great deal of pain and like you put us in a bad spot since my family already has their deposits in. My best advice is to have an honest talk with your fiancé. After hours of talking with mine he decided that he didn't want us changing our plans since it is our day and he is ok with not having his family there. He has his best friends attending as his best man/ groomsmen. However he will have no"guest" sitting watching the wedding. We will only have my side of the family however he says he's ok with this because he already sees them like his family, Just remember it's your day and together you guys will figure it out. Let me know if there is anything I can do

That drives me crazy! I've really realized how hard it can be to order from the USA during my wedding planning. They either don't send to Canadian address or they don't take our cards. Life can be so hard

They are hard to tell apart. I also love the bussel. I was unsure if I wanted one because I love the design on the back of the dress however your bussel still shows it. now it's a must have on my dress

I actually got mine in white. the dress is amazing!! It was the first one I tried on.

I'm pretty laid back, I mentioned sundress for the girls and guys can wear dressy shorts and a nice top. My fiancé, father and groomsmen will all be in dress shorts

Good luck I'm sure it will fit perfectly. I'm now concerned about my dress! I never even thought that the fit in the store and wasn't the going to be the same fit as a dress that nobody has tried. I'll need to try it on tomorrow and make sure all is well. The thought of of shortening the hem makes sense and I'll need to remember to do that when I get my dressed done in Mai.

I have just received an email from a new coordinator using daniels old account on Monday. I hve emailed her again since Ariel has been updating some of our stuff. I hope that they work well together and nothing gets lost between the two of them. Hopefully she responds soon

We will be having a small enough group that we will be using the free package at our resort. However it is not really free since I need to pay to upgrade my room. However that being said the package is 600$ and the room upgrade is only 400$ so we are saving money money that I will be using to do some upgrades to our package.

Welcome to the forum Canada445 you will love it here. I have not yet had my wedding, however I have heard that lots of brides do the pool bar after which is what we will be doing. I did not get enough guest to be able to have one of the big receptions so we will be doing an a la carte then going to the pool bar. As for off site wedding photographers, I got around this by bringing my photographer from Edmonton. Since she will be a paying guest they have no problems with her taking our wedding pictures.
