Hi Ladies, We are getting married on the Carnival Magic Nov 3, 2013! I would love to hear any of your reviews or stories. I have found that the board for honeymoons and weddings is really good over at cruise critic but I want to get the cruise stuff going more over here.

Love that you got your swatches....about how long after you ordered them did you get them? What colors did you pick out?

A wedding planner is probably a good idea but I would also try and read any Las Vegas wedding reviews that you can. I find it so nice to actually read about someone who has gone through the exact same thing and a lot of brides really take the time to write out everything in detail which is awesome!!! Hey Ladies, I make time when my DD is asleep to have some me time and browse the forums! I am so lucky to have family in the same house (different suites though) so if I need to run out I have someone around almost always.

Hello Ladies, Just wanted to post this out there and see if there were any other mommies around. I know that it is pretty hectic once you become a mom and I did things a little backwards and we are just planning our wedding now and our DD is 31/2. Just saying hello and hope to hear from some other mommies soon!!

Oh that does suck! You never know though he might sneak a few coronas!! The rate on the cruise is the same no matter if you are a kid or an adult so my 4 year old DD will be the same price as me

Wow so glad I found this thread about how the dress doesn't get completely ruined. I had totally thought that I wouldn't be up for a TTD session but after seeing some of the pics on here and reading about it, it is sounding better and better everyday!

I totally agree with this. I think you get a lot of people at regular weddings that are there to taste the food and then get out....whereas a DW is such a longer affair that you can't help but relax and get to know each other!

Well I just looked at our budget and it seems that we would be well over $8000 but that includes flights from Victoria BC Canada to Houston Texas and cruise fare. We are paying for my FI and I as well as our DD and FMIL, FBIL and FSIL because they wouldn't be able to save enough to come and it is really important for FI to have them there. This price also includes hotels for us before the cruise and transportation from the airport as well. It also includes a second week on the ship just for FI and I to stay and have our wedding so I think it is pretty good. The budget seems to go up very fast....without a lot of work lol but once in a lifetime right!!!

Hello Ladies, Just thought I would start this thread for those of us getting married in November of 2013. We are getting married on the Carnival Magic leaving from Galveston on November 3rd 2013. We are really excited and I am loving planning this wedding. This site is great and I am so glad that I found it but I would love to hear about everyones plans as we get closer and closer to the dates! Happy planning ladies and hope to see your posts soon!

This is something to consider but I don't know if my dress will be able to hold up to a trashing...and i don't necessarily want to ruin it.... Anyways thanks for posting this!

I think this is what we are going to go for as well. I might even go with a fake bouquet because you can't bring real flowers onto the ship... I might just do a nice flower in the bridesmaids hair and the flower girl.
