  1. Well I heard from Edgar, and he said I could use DJ Julian (just like you said) and that my date is available BUT... I'd have to set it up with Ana sooo.... you know how that goes, lol. Waiting for her to respond. Hopefully she gets back to me soon- I'm trying to check DJ and photography off my "list" asap so I don't have to worry about them. Were you able to book DJ Julian or did you decide on someone else? Who are you using for photography? I might use Adventure Photos but I emailed a bunch of people to get prices (Ivan Luckie, Del Sol, La Luna, Elizabeth Medina). All wonderful photographers, but 3 to 4X more $$ than Adventure, so we'll see... pictures are so important tho
  2. Thanks for posting these Steph! SUCH a cute idea...i love em! Will definitely be making these
  3. Aaaww Mocha, everything looks great! I love your flowers, the dyed crinoline idea, the garters...I could go on and on! Hope your dress comes in perfect- good luck! Cant wait for more pics
  4. Dress looks beautiful on you! Love the buttons in the back...Congrats!!
  5. So adorable! I already bought my "I Do" sticker at Michaels, but I love how this is personalized...gotta love Etsy!
  6. Oh my gosh, these are the cutest magnets ever! How did you make them (to look like you)? I can't believe how inexpensive they were- good find!
  7. These are super cute too...just saw them on ebay Corona Lime-shaped bottle opener key chains http://cgi.ebay.com/5-NEW-CORONA-LIME-SHAPED-BOTTLE-OPENERS-KEYCHAINS_W0QQitemZ360356066753QQcategoryZ566QQcmdZViewItemQQ_trksidZp3286.m7QQ_trkparmsZalgo%3DLVI%26itu%3DUCI%26otn%3D3%26po%3DLVI%26ps%3D63%26clkid%3D8269226940044580380
  8. Ursula, I just realized that those are "bottle opener" palm tree keychains, lol...I've been searching all over for those! Kendall, please post where you got them! Thanks : )
  9. Thanks for your review lsd203- can't wait to see your pics! Our wedding falls on a Sat too, and many of our guests have booked Thur-Mon as well...wish I had read your review before they booked. I thought about having them book Fri-Tues instead, but oh well- most wanted to travel with us- i.e. like our parents, who booked to arrive with us on Thurs because they wanted to help. We've decided against having a rehersal dinner for that same fact (all incl-why pay extra), but did you ask Ana if they could accommadate your party at one of the restaurants? I know I read of a bride or two on here doing that, and it worked out for them. They didn't shut the place down, just sectioned off a part of a restaurant (I remember El Patio being mentioned), even though it was a bit of a pain (Ana had to ask the manager, etc). I'm sure it depends on the size of your party too. If its on the smaller side, say under 40 people, it might be more feasable...
  10. Everything looks super cute! I really like how you covered the vases with paper...it looks great!
  11. Thanks for posting that Mandy! I think I'm going to save that one...I'm currently obsessing over a few myself, but with so many great fonts out there already, I just can't bring myself to purchase one...and I don't think any of these are free : ( Fully loving the Adios Script font: As well as the Feel Script font: And even Piel Script:
  12. O-M-Goodness there are so many gorgeous shoes on this thread!!
  13. Great job Erin! They look awesome so far! So happy to see another couple using our same wedding colors! Not too many yellow and grey destination brides, lol. Here's a pic of our yellow/grey std magnet: Love this color combo! Although recently, fiance and I did decide to add in some green to the mix (for a little extra punch), so now its yellow, green and grey for us! Thanks for posting!
  14. Holy cow...that's what I call dedication, lol (i guess it's called talent too! : ) Awesome, awesome, awesome invites! Thanks for posting your step by step...very inspiring!
  15. Good job on your bags-they look great! I'm sure your guests loved them! Like the idea about using the little baggies..def save $$ this way!
  16. Awesome job on your bags Kendall! I'm especially in love with your Hershey's kisses and the underwater cameras- great idea, and very useful, I would think! I'm doing the kisses too- I bought the stickers, but I wasn't sure if I could fit a pic on there...good to see I can! Thanks!
  17. Love your dress-the flower strap is great! I'm in the process of hittin the gym too...ugh...not fun, lol, but so worth it in the end (those pictures last forever!) Lost 9 lbs so far, 1500 more to go, haha...Good luck- finding "the" dress is a big check off your checklist!
  18. Hi Denielle! Just like everyone mentioned, I used regular business sized, aka No. 10 envelopes, to mail my boarding pass STDs. They fit perfectly! I bought Ayless' $10 template, which has 3 passes to a page. I then folded an 8.5"x 11" piece of cardstock and turned it into an envelope. I should probably post a thread in the diy section, I didn't get around to it yet. FahKit- I can't believe they sell pre-perforated paper! I wish I knew that before I hand perforated all mine, lol! I bought a perforating blade for my cutter too, as 780chick mentioned. It worked fine, just a little time consuming (on top of all the cutting involved). Avens, I bought similar "Recollections" envelopes (shimmery silver) from Michaels after Christmas as well...too funny. When I bought mine they were on clearance for a $1.00- can't beat that! Thank goodness I bought extra cuz some were messed up during printing (black ink spots-thank you, printer) PS: You're probably aware, but make sure you get one finished boarding pass weighed before you buy stamps...mine were $.61 to mail, cuz I had a magnet attached, as well as the heavy cardstock I used as a ticket jacket... Good luck!
  19. Wow, gorgeous dress!! I can see why you'd go crazy trying to find it... this screams beach wedding to me! It's beautiful! Love this style... 20. Wow, your dresses are very cool and unique- I've never seen anything like them before! You're lucky your girls can agree on what they're wearing...I only have 2 girls, but they're both so different! Congrats on your wedding!
  21. I totally fell in love with this dress when I saw it in my Knot magazine a few months back...I couldn't wait to show my moh! Too bad when I finally did, she looked at it and said "eh, it's alright. I don't like the ruffles" WHAT?! Lol, it's ok though, I'm not a bridezilla (not yet anyway : ) so on to find another style she likes more. I may just have to buy it in white for myself though...love it!
  22. Nikki, I love this dress! Its exactly what my girls want, but unfortunately they don't have my color : ( I'm looking for a bright, sunflower yellow, and the closest they have is sunshine (too light). Thanks for sharing though, i'll have to try to find something similar!
  23. Booo, that stinks that you guys don't have one nearby! I was so excited to find them...I bought all the ones they had in our colors, thinkin I would go grab the rest at the next closest CTS. There's 4 (i think) in CT where I live, so I started panicking when I called the other 2 stores and they didn't have them. I ended up dragging FI (he was NOT excited, lol) an hour and 20 minutes away to the only other store in CT that had them...oh well, worth it in my opinion : ) Lisa, I can't lie, I was doing the happy dance as well, lol
