    Ha! Clearly we all go through this. My FMIL told me that a few of her friends and family asked, "Does she not have any friends? Is that the reason she doesn't want a traditional wedding?" I thought it was hilarious!

    I didn't have a Facebook account until a few weeks after I was engaged, so there's the answer to that..

    We are also staying at the same resort for our honeymoon. Most of our guests will be leaving two days after the wedding, so it works out perfectly.

    I agree that a Friday reception is perfectly fine! So many brides are having traditional weddings on Friday's and Sunday's to keep the cost significantly lower. I'm not sure what your budget is, but I want to encourage you to keep looking. I found a really great deal to have my AHR. It's all inclusive for $3850- that includes a sit-down dinner for 150 people, centerpieces included (calla lillies), linens, etc. She also had great reviews on The Knot. I'm not sure what exactly you're looking for...but do as much research as you can. There is definitely something out there! Good luck!
