Hi! As our wedding planning has progressed, we've moved onto the idea of having a pig roast at a private estate. We'd love if we could have the actual whole pig roasted at the home and then serve it during the reception at the home. So, basically, we'd have a menu of appetizers, a starting course, the pig, and then dessert which a friend of ours would provide. Any ideas on a caterer or private chef would specializes in this? We're still in the early phases and aren't sure if we want to use a day of coordinator or a full wedding coordinator. It really will depend on what we figure out in the process over the next few weeks. Â Specifically, I wanted to know about the availability of peonies in October/November in Maui. Really want to go with something that is available locally during the time period.

Hi there! My name is Judy and I am engaged to my fiance Andy. We got engaged in July and are planning a Maui, Hawaii destination wedding. In terms of dates, we originally were looking at a 3/11/2011 wedding date, but my dear grandmother passed away this past Saturday and the mourning period and travel is throwing a huge delay into our planning, so we are seriously considering planning to change the date to sometime in September/October 2011. Thoughts? Even before my grandmother passed, I was already feeling stressed and now with this sad news, I'm just not in a super wedding planning mood and don't want to deal with the stress right now.
