initially i was planning on it, but from talking it over with FI doesn't look like i will...no real use for it, and we're trying to save money.

I sent out my invites in May, with all the booking info included in them. I made the RSVP date for a month after I sent them out, which was the last day to book to get the early booking bonus. A lot of ppl are waiting till the fall to book, which is fine but they're just taking a chance with the price.

My fiance and I went through the same thing. We agree early on that he'd wear khaki coloured linen pants and a white linen top. Back in June when were shopping we found a great outfit but he convinced me to wait...what was I thinking! We went shopping a couple of weeks ago and everything linen was gone!!! I got really upset! He just kept saying he'll order them online in Dec...haha! Not exactly what I want! I think as a way to keep me happy he agreed to seriously go shopping for his outfit. Needless to say it took going to many different Banana Republic's (where we saw the first outfit and the clothes look great on him) to find the right pant and shirt for him. It actually worked out in the end because we bought everything this week and we got both the pants and top for less than half price...WOOHOO!!! I think you need to just get him to a mall first and then go from there. Go to the stores that you know will have the pants you want for him and just coax him into trying things on. Waiting much longer is not a good idea, there's not much left in terms of linen pants. Stores that have linen clothing include Banana Republic, RW & Co, Old Navy (linen/cotton blend tops for $12!), Tommy Bahama, and Harry Rosen.

I've done a lot of retail shopping this week for the week in Jamaica!!! Cute summer dresses and everything's on sale...great time to be at the mall! I've also bought my wedding jewellery, my MOH gift, my shoes, and my FI's outfit! Have gotten a lot accomplished...feels good!

I'm not sure either, and am definitely curious to know! I'm sure there is an alternative though. A review would be great...and some pics!

I'm super excited! I've been doing a lot of summer shopping this week...cute summer dresses for Jamaica!!!

2/3 of ours will be cash, 1/3 will go on our line of credit....to be paid off shortly after the wedding.

FI and I are also childless by choice and many of our friends are contemplating the same thing, or they're only have 1 child. FI and I have decided we want our life to be about travelling and exploring the world! My confession...I work with kids everyday and hate their crazy parents...I don't want to be one of them! I want life to be about me and FI, doing the things that we love, having Sunday afternoon naps and not being responsible for another being! I have nieces and nephews to get my 'kid' fix...one afternoon with them is enough! LOL!

I know we were firm about keeping it below $1500 and even changed resorts so that it'd be affordable for our family & friends. We ended up booking for $1400 but Feb is a more expensive time to go, maybe u can look at changing ur date to go during low season?
