  1. I am getting married at the Pier House Resort, while stopping in KW for our cruise, so I can't help too much with the welcome dinner and brunch, but I will tell you they have nice packages and their catering prices were very reasonable. I liked their beach area for the wedding, plus they have lots of nice areas for pictures. The other ones I looked into were the Hyatt and Ocean Key Resort, both great too. Good luck!
  2. Congratulations! Thanks so much for sharing your review. I love your pictures! I am getting married on Carnival and have added some of your shots around the ship to my list of must have pictures for the photographer.
  3. Thanks so much, I was so worried because when you do all this DIY stuff it becomes more personal and I really appreciate the positive feedback. It means alot:)
  4. I used 80lb card stock in a linear finish-it has textured horizontal lines. It was scrap paper that was given away at my work, they were presentation covers but perfect for what I wanted and FREE:)
  5. Thanks so much!! I got a template from here and used powerpoint to make them. I found all the fonts and dingbats online and just worked with the colors until I got them to match. Here are the dingbats I used: Tropicana BV, vehicular and wmtrees1. I had to save some of the dingbats as a picture to create the washout effect. The fonts I used were Batik Regular, Murray Hill, Segoe Script, and Honey Script. It took a lot of time, but hopefully it will be worth it. I attached a template for anyone who is interested:) boarding pass invites for bdw.ppt
  6. Hi All, First I want to thank everyone on here. I have gotten so many ideas and tips, I don't know where I would be without this site:) This is my first attempt at boarding pass invites, so please let me know what you think. I went a little crazy with dingbats and washouts, but I like how they turned out-I just want to make sure they don't look too homemade-lol.
  7. Great job-they look totally professional! Thanks for sharing-can't wait to take mine to get printed:)
  8. Congrats and welcome! Grand Cayman is absolutely beautiful-just remember that it is a tender port and if there is bad weather or rough seas, the cruise line may skip the port. Just make sure you have a back up:)
