  1. Well I am extremely happy. I got my email response from Duosheng. That was pretty fast. Sent email this afternoon and got it just now at around midnight. This is what they responded: http://www.duosheng.cn/shangweb/xihun/Postal.html Main fabric: Ruching organdy Price of standard high quality: USD289.76 Price of Best quality: US$ 394.12 http://www.duosheng.cn/shangweb/xihun/Astarte.html Main fabric: soft net, applique. …( this dress can't make exactly same as the picture show)Price of standard high quality: USD279.76 Price of Best quality: US$ 386.12 Now the question which one to go with. Maybe I need to find them at a local shop and see... I am leaning more towards the first dress, only because of the comment above. But FI, originally liked second more. But now --no longer sure. But overall I am sooo tempted to just get both. Less than $800 for two dresses, can't beat that.
  2. I am glad to have found this thread as well .... I ended up pulling my back this weekend, but hope I can start P90X soon.
  3. Hi Girls... I am also in DFW area. I have been a member for a short bit. I had been spending my time looking at the wedding dress threads.... Have you guys done your wedding registries? How much planning have you all done?

Does anyone know who makes similar desgins? I also love an Elie Saab dress, but have not seen anything like it -that could be made. Thanks Everyone... Added later.... So I did a search and found a place called... Lady K Bridal Elie Saab - Astarte And I found the Elie Saab dress.... Elie Saab - Astarte [duo-astarte] Designer List Price $2,332.95 There price: $933.18 But for some reason this image doesnt sell me on the dress as the B&W image. I was looking at the Duosheng page and they have the Pronovias dress there as well. I just sent them an email to get an idea of the price.

  8. Well I have all the stuff I need. I did get a corner punch, but I think this is not the right size, seems a tad big. I ended up getting my envelopes online at Paper Presentation. Got a good deal. Also got some card stock, in a brown color, for my ticket jackets. I am still having a tough time getting the right images for the boarding pass, starfish, hibiscus any of those would be okay... I also dished out about 100.00 on stamps: 60 stamps - of 61 cents and another 60 stamps of 44 cents. Turns out that your 44 cents stamps only allows for 1 oz of weight, I had 1.30 oz. I also wanted to get a monogram desgined.....so many things to do and not enough time.... Well I will keep you all posted. Thanks again for all your help and ideas.
  9. Your pictures were awesome, they did a great job. Congratulations.
  10. Welcome to all the New St. Thomas Brides new to the this post. I had been away for a bit, but need to get this done... time is flying and fast. The problem I am running into is.. I am not sure if I need to give a rough estimate of who is going and then make changes as needed? I don't want to go with a WC and then say we will have 10 guests and end up with 20 or vice versa. HELP HELP =)
  11. They are really nice... I need to play around with Illustrator, and finally get mine done. Thanks for sharing.
  12. They are really nice.... she did a fantastic job. Very impressive. That would be awesome if you are able to post the template. (Crossing my fingers) Thanks for sharing.
  13. Thanks for sharing... awesome job. I was wondering... what kind of paper did you use for the passport covers? * Stay warm fellow N. Texan..... it's going to drop under 20.... brrrr
  14. Thanks shakeimap, for that information.....I will definitely keep that in mind.
  15. Okay so i got my perforator at Hobby Lobby for $2.99 Now I need to figure out the right paper for the ticket jacket.....I can't decide what to do for that and then also the envelopes.
  16. I got a yudu for christmas, along with a cricut. I wanted to do t-shirts for all the wedding cruise guests. Maybe also some towels...
  17. Nice work.... once I get a final number of all the guests I would like to make luggage tags.
  18. Thanks... I guess thats good to know. Not sure if I can make 150 posts before the wedding....one could only hope....
  19. Well I ended up going to Sams and finding the card stock there for about $6.00, I dont remember how many sheets it came with. I was looking for blue paper for the ticket jacket, but have not yet found it. I did see a link to a site online for paper, but I am worried that it will not work with my printer since it's metallic. I wanted a Tiffany blue, but I might have to go with a Turquoise. I also spent more than I should have, trying to convert a Word doc template of the tickets into a vector image so that my Cricut can do all the cutting. I will try that again when I get home from work. Keep you all posted.
  20. Those are great...but for some reason I was not able to view the file. Does anyone know why? = (
