OMG Sammysgirl I am HATING reading that you have to go through all of this so close to the wedding! I agree with what has been said about going to the shower and just being cordial. Not friendly, not nicey, but just being there. I feel That if you don’t go, it is going to just cause many problems in the future. Unfortunately, these people are going to be part of your lives forever, and even if your FI is hopping mad right now, it’s likely that it will blow over in months, years, etc. Being the bigger person in this scenario really sucks. I’m so sorry!! Let us know what happens Adrienne and Samira- Thank you SO much for your ideas ladies! I think I really needed confirmation on the chairbows, and also the beautiful ocean background. I’ll def get some petals from them, and do the aisle too.

I'm in the same exact boat JanineA....I'm wearing 4" heels and I'm 5 1". Married in the sand, and I don't think my resort does those wooden aisle runners. I have searched and searched for fuschia wedges, but cannot find any that are 4". My last resort is to go test out my shoes in the sand by my house, and maybe I'll just need to walk on my tiptoes. I mean, even if you wear wedges, you're going to sink right? Thoughts?

Thanks Katie! We were originally going to do the Royal package, but since our guest list is over 40, I am assuming we will need to do the Caprice. I'm kind of stressing about the ceremony set up because 1. FI wants to get married on the beach, not gazebo, 2. I do not want to pay the $500+ for the huppah and I'm really afraid that it is going to look too plain.... I also had decided not to do chairbows which makes it even more plain! So I am trying to figure out how to incorporate some flowers in there without breaking the bank, and maybe chairbows..............oh, and I think the beach one will let you use a fake flower arch, but I'm afraid it will look cheesy... Any advice ladies? Did any past brides see any weddings on the beach that didn't have the huppah? Wow sammysgirl you only have a month to go!!!! How freaking exciting. Oh yeah, and packing advice would def be a help! Hey Staicy! Excited to hear about your site inspection!

I am not a sentimental person, so I would defnitely trade up if in the future I wanted something different. I defnitely agree with the other ladies that you should talk to him about it. Communication is key- FI and I have both talked about upgrading mine in the future. Just do what is best for you and FI!!

hunniebee- You're right- thank god that it's not life threatning! It sounds like you have it all under control and that it's not affecting too much which is great! Holy moly Sungoddess- I need to get on board with that daily workout routine! That's awesome

That FI sent me a very sweet text as soon as I got in to work. It really is the little things in life! OH and that one of my BFF's called me on the way to work and that totally helped me get through my ugly commute!

Thanks Katie! Sorry I'm a dunce here- by pieces does that mean an arrangement of some sort? I am just freaking out a little about this because we now have 42-44 people coming, and the next package price up is 570! Seems like so much more to pay, even though it includes hair and stuff. But I had a flower budget with the lower package, so if I can eliminate that.... I hate the budget. But it certainly makes sitting in this cubicle silghtly more bearable
