Josie—Thx for the threads, but a couple of quesions, did you find that their prices for the resort were a little much? I remember getting a quote from them last year, (when I thought my wedding would be less than a year away, and I was able to check the resort quotes) and the quote she gave me was about 1000 higher… I was wondering if you had checked that at all. Since the July 2010 prices are not out yet, I cannot compare. I just don’t want myself or guests to be paying more than we have to (of course!!!) ALSO- did you find that your guests were willing to use them too? Sorry for all of the questions!! Samira—YES! The weather is going to be brutal—what time are you having your ceremony? I am signed up for 3pm, but I’m starting to think that will be too hot… And- my STD’s will probably not be ready until early September—about 10 months like the other gals--- everyone is anxiously awaiting them though!! They do know the plan, but of course we’re getting harassed. My FI is so proud of them, they were his idea. We got personalized shot glasses, and we’re sending them in a little box with Cuervo shots and a lime w/ a std card (that I still have to make). More work than I’d like, but it should be cute! Katie—Thx for liberty, I’ll check them out! You guys have the best ideas for little gifts and OOT bags!! I am definitely not that far along, but I’ll get there and probably use some of them  WOW DESIREE, YOU MUST BE GOING NUTS!! YAY!!

OH, and if I do go with EMedina—I will probably have to give up some other stuff! It is more than I expected, but from the start I said as soon as I found someone that I loved, I would go with them…. I guess we’ll see what happens though!!

Josie you are a peach! I actually signed up for destinationweddings.com last year when I thought we were going to plan sooner. I heard about the mixed reviews, but if you are happy, then maybe I will go with them. I got assigned Forte Carter, who do you have? So they have been helpful? Very good to know…. If so, or even if you’re using the hotel one, can you give me an idea on package pricing? I REALLY want to use Elizabeth Medina, but I’m not sure how much all of this is supposed to cost- she is pretty pricey! It may not even matter, because I’m in LOVE with her work. I’m just bummed that she cannot ‘pencil’ me in, and I cannot get the deposit to her for another month ½ or so… Anyway, I wanted to check others prices too!

Hi All! I have been stalking this thread for a few days, and have had the pleasure of being welcomed! My date at the RPRM is confirmed for July 6, 2010. As some of you had stated previously, I have my confirmation code, but no rates yet. The conf code is ok for 90 days though, so I'm not stressing! I have never worked with one before.. how long was your deadline for deposit with your TA to get a group rate? Have you found that it is better priced than just getting it yourself? Lisa- LOVE your BM and GM outfits-- our nieces and nephews will be ours, and I was thinking of doing something similar!! Samira- I'm so excited that your date is close to mine! it will be so interesting to see how weather is, etc. Can't wait!
