  1. Fingers, toes, arms, legs crossed! I hate the interview process- so nerve racking. At least you have the anticipation of the big day to get you by!!
  2. AHH! BEST OF LUCK for your interview! and is it weird that my heart felt like it literally skipped a beat when I read that you have only a WEEK left before you leave!? I don't know how you are able to focus on anything in life right now! haha

EEEK how excited are you that it's this close?! BTW- your 'they still suck 100%' freaking cracks me up! obviously not that you have to go through it- but your attitude is great. Well everyone- it’s pretty cool- all we have left to buy is my ring, and some stuff down in Playa! (postcards for guestbook, and cigars for cocktail hour). And all I have left to do is make maraca tags, welcome books, and bling some clothes. Everything is coming together!!
  4. So sorry to hear about your Gpa Natasha- You are being so strong. Thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family! And OUCH- wisdom teeth out is NOT fun! I'll never forget- mine were impacted so my cheeks were totally chipmunked out- and the day after was when I met FI's close circle of friends for the first time!! I ate soup- and had a few drinks to help with the pain! (not recommended ) Congrats Cindy! That's awesome! FI always tries to get me to run with him, but I feel the same way you did- he's just faster than me. I'm getting better though- I think we'll be forced to run together on our mini vacation coming up- we'll see how that goes!
  5. They are so fab!! I heart them- you have everything coming together so beautifully!! Cant wait to see pics of your day!

  7. Thanks Natasha- that's a great idea!!!!!!! I'm looking it up right now!
  8. Yay Leanne and Natasha! You are so close Natasha~! And I agree with Cindy, JennyPenny. Might as well start shopping now- I put it off for so long because of weight loss and ended up cutting it kind of close, since the salon ordered my dress in the wrong size! I'm with you Vallarta- it was a horrible week for me. Two coworkers who I consider friends had things going on- one is leaving so there was a pizza goodbye diiner for her, then another ones bday and cake was too yummy looking to pass up I also had to drive over an hour for my first fitting (yay!) so I didn't work out a couple of days because of that and the dinner. I know, I know, excuses- but the scale shows it. Up 1 lb from last week. Cannot get out of this range! On the bright side- as I said, the salon I got my dress from ordered my dress too small, and there wasn’t enough time to order a bigger size- it would have been cutting it way too close to the wedding. So I just decided I would fit into it! (or let it out) but I went to my first fitting this week, and the seamstress said that I’m almost there- just need to lose a few lbs and inches to fit into it. I know I can do it! EXCEPT- we’re going on a mini vacation next week. There is sure to be food the whole time- it’s all FIL’s have been talking about. I need to just make sure I hit the hotel gym (hopefully there is one!) and watch my cals……

About the sashes, I really like the ones you have and I think they will add a great color to the ceremony. However, I know what you mean, I feel like I have mainly seen the satin sashes in beach weddings. THey are just a little bolder; have you seen any pictures of brides who chose the organza for their beach wedding? I don't think that I have seen them in pics--- I am going to go through my photographers website again just to see. 10. Thank you so much for the pics and review Erin! I love to see the beach wedding pics because there weren't many before! Your wedding looked fab Quote: Originally Posted by JNagan2011 Ordered the BM dresses today (well 3 out of 6). On a good note I randomly decided to get S's ring engraved today and I had it engraved with "All my love, All my life"...it came out great! Awwwww I love that engraving!! Precious.... and I feel you about freaking out, as you will see below I'm sure you have everything in order. Just enjoy this time--- BTW- I'll need someone to tell me that when I'm 3 weeks away too Quote: Originally Posted by aalva416 Hello ladies! Thanks for the review E! And Sammy everything will be fine! I wanted to see if I could bring in some of my own things and just have them set it up for me. Are you just going with their centerpieces? Thanks! Adrienne OH centerpieces..... I had a whole setup planned out: Except I was going to place the curved vases into a circle with a candle in the middle...... THEN I realized I would be carrying down 24 glass vases down with me. They would fill an entire suitcase! So we decided to take the big vases back, and will be putting out the flowers from the ceremony with some extras (we're bringing the votives from the pics, and scatter jewels)---should be perfect. Ok, I know I am crazy with this one. I didn't want chair sashes to begin with, but when I realized we couldn't afford a huppah, decided to add color. So I bought these ones: I love the color, it's perfect- but I just saw a pic of a beach wedding with satin sashes (loved them!), and I bought organza. Now I am rethinking my decision..... I can totally sell these sashes on here (or elsewhere) they're really pretty- but I want to get your opinion on satin vs. organza? I know this seems so trivial, but for some reason I cannot make up my mind- it's not like me! For goodness sakes- I purchased the 2ND DRESS I had ever tried on!!

  12. Tight black sweater or shirt, skinny jeans and HIGH heels! Are you doing any beauty routines for the wedding that are out of your ordinary?
  13. I loved living in SF more than life! We were there for a year, but unfortunately, it was the year after FI finished up law school and passed the bar so we were living pretty um... cheaply! Some fav restaurants though In the Marina neighborhood: A16-Italian (northern? not sure, but it's not pasta/red sauce italian if that makes sense) Circa- great brunch and BOTTOMLESS mimosas on Sundays! Pizza Orgasmica-yummmm- hit up that place way too many times after going out Ace Wasabi- Sushi- get the sake bombs too! Barney's- great burgers! Cafe Maritime- fish fish fish (haha, can you tell this is where we lived!) In Northbeach: Michaelangelos- italian- always pretty solid Stinkin Rose- itialian- kind of commercially, but good food- and have to heart garlic if you like hole in the wall bars- The saloon in northbeach is about as hole in the wall as it comes- but there's always great blues music and cheap drinks! We go every time we go and visit Hayes Valley neighborhood: Citizen Cupcake- YUMMY desserts- never had the food there, but this chef is amazing! Also, if you're in union square/financial district area, ask where the French Quarter is. I don't remember streets, but it's this alley way that they have a few restaurants and you sit outside- one of the french ones is AMAZING- little pricey, but worth it! Oh and the 39th floor bar- it's in the Marriott- GREAT views! That's all I can remember-- there are lot of places I don't remember names to. Have fun!
  14. WOWEE! That is one huge fabulous planning thread! Thanks for feeding into my addiction with such a great one I can't wait to see pics!
  15. I got one of my favorites made by gianina (knockoff from china). I paid 160 including shipping. Check out this thread- there is a lot of info here! http://bestdestinationwedding.com/fo...ts-here-36700/
  16. HAHA! That is a great story! Your pics are gorgeous!! I'm not sure who is walking you down the aisle, but he is wearing a hat like the one my grandfather is wearing (he is walking me down). He is SO excited about this darned hat and it's so cute! I loved seeing this pic- just makes me so excited for the day.
  17. Thanks Guys!! Mere- you totally have time- they said it would be ready in 4 weeks, and I got my proof pics back before that. We should be getting it in the mail soon...
  18. I think it's a great idea! Melissa Sweet's Mari was my orignial 'dream' dress. I ended up getting something different, but I have a special place in my heart for that dress!
  19. Big shout out to Island Princess who gave me this idea! I think it's just adorable. We got it from mrsclay.com. Their service is great also! Our Precious Furbaby- Crosby (he was the main reason we got this, we wanted to incorporate him into the wedding somehow!
  20. Alright Raychel- I watched 4 weddings tonight and totally thought of you!! There was a bride that swarovski'd her WHOLE shoe herself...one shoe took 20 freaking hours! Just had to share- I really hope you're still planning on doing your heels!
