Aw Nicola it's so exciting when people start booking!!! Yeah, I have to admit, I had planned on being a strong contributer throughout, but it has not worked out exactly that way. But my planning thread will be out this week, I have been keeping up with it as time goes on! Those are my favorites, so I knew I had to return the love I wonder if it is the one you tried on? Awww poor Adrienne! I know I've been totally MIA lately, as I've said before. I literally went from being on BDW 8 HOURS a day to 0 hours a day Leaving for the wedding in 9 days!!!! For you Linds- finally got a pic of me in my TTD-oh, and Jen- don't worry your pretty little head about sending any money. I'm glad you like the pails! KimmyG- GORGEOUS PICS!! So I got word from the new RPRM gal that she will not put up my chairbows, dinner candles, and cake topper. Anyone have this problem? I'm not gonna stress about it, but that seems kind of ridic. Finally had a chance to take a pic of me in my dress!! The first pic is me in the original Maggie Sottero 'Reese', the second is me in the knockoff that I got made from Gianinar. I have to be honest, I am glad it is my TTD because it fits a little weird. You can see in the pic that there is a crease at the top of my leg, it seems that they just cut the material badly. Overall, I am happy with it though- def worth the 150!

Sorry guys this will be the second week I didn't send my weight- I took my scale down to LA last weekend to do it and totally forgot- then came back up here without it!!! I have no idea how I've been doing, but----- I picked up my dress last night and it zips up!!!! They originally ordered the wrong size and I was just trying to lose the weight- Looks like it worked

Wendy, your FI is freaking hilarious!! has a point though... Awww Janine I'm sorry for all of this stress. Not something you expect to happen!! But I'm happy that you took the steps you could, and everything will work out for the best. It has to! (that's what I always tell myself!) I myself, had to choose between TTD and BD. I chose TTD (obviously since I've been talking about it on other threads!) but I plan on doing a BD shoot for our 1st anniversary. I also should look into doing a shared photog, now that I will be living in a bigger city.....

Congrats Samira!!! Sorry about the small mishaps- but thank you so much for letting us know that it still was a wonderful time. I picked up my dress tonight! I wasn't supposed to do my final fitting for a few weeks, but since we're moving, I had to get it. I had some drama because they ordered it too small, and didn't want to let it out. OH they also made me pay for the hollow to hem, but then I was to find out that it wasn't able to be made that short.... Anyway- it's a little tight, but I'm so happy overall with how it looks compared to when I first tried it on!! Here is one with the seamstress showing me how to do the bustle:

Not sure if I ever posted here, but I had some dress drama. They ordered it in the wrong size and there was no time to order new. I didn't want to let it out (vanity!) so I didn't and I went for my last fitting tonight to pick it up. It will be less tight in the coming weeks, but overall, I am very happy with how it looks! This is the seamstress teaching me to do the bustle- I didn't get a good front facing pic:

I TOTALLY AGREE!!! Wendy has been such a lifesaver with regards to answering all of my guests questions, my million questions. And not only that, she responds super fast, is just a doll to talk to on the phone- she is just fabulous! My FFIL is even wanting to use her for their upcoming trip to Italy, and I've had many guests rave about how great she is. WENDY HICKS (WRIGHT TRAVEL) ROCKS!!

Hey everyone! I know I got you excited when my dress came in and I promised to post pics. FI is at our new house, and I’ve tried SEVERAL times to get a good photo by myself, and cannot get one. I promise when we’re back in the same house, I will post. As for the dress. It’s pretty good….. fits a little weird in the boob area, a little uneven in the back, the beading is obviously nothing compared to the Maggie, it has weird stitching on the ruching, but all of this is pretty minor. It’s a perfectly good dress to trash I unfortunately, chose to have one made that had some specific details. I am thinking I should have done a more simple one but it’s TOO late now!!

HEY GUYS! I know- I have been such a wreck lately, and not on the forum at all which is NOT like me!!! I've been traveling back and forth between new house and old, no good internet connection, stressing like a maniac. But hopefully we can get all moved this weekend, and my life can get back to normal again! I promise, promise promise, I will post my planning thread before I go (I have to, I am obsessed with them!) and I will be much better after the wedding when everything settles down!! OH and Jen- I am the worst BDW'er ever, but I am sending the pails TODAY along with all of our luggage tags. A million apologies!! I'll also catch up on all of the wonderful things you guys have going on on here. So excited for everyone!!

I was in the exact same position, except w/ my photographer. I sent out our STD's for July 6th, but then I found that she wasn't available. So I just let everyone know (no one had booked yet) and I put a pop up on our website that said not to pay attention to the STD's, and that 'due circumstances beyond our control, the date had to be pushed back by one day'. I wanted my photog more than anything! And I think you should have the same w/ the chapel. But as the others said, check to see if anyone was potentially leaving on that date. Otherwise- go for it!

Oh, and yes, it's a great idea to tell them you need it sooner. I did cut it a little close with ordering time, I ordered at the end of March, I told them my wedding was June 7th (a month before) and just got it today.

OMG OMG OMG MY DRESS IS HERE! I AM AT WORK RIGHT NOW AND I WANT TO PUT IT ON!!!!! Ugh- and I cannot try it on until tomorrow- I'm driving 5 hours right after work to our new place because I have an interview tomorrow. I will post pics ASAP!

Driving down to new city to stay with FI for the weekend tonight, and I have an INTERVIEW tomorrow!!!!
