  1. It's a size 10, no alterations to the bodice. It was hemmed to fit 5'2" and I wore 4" heels with it. I was actually really surprised, because it didn't get that dirty, but of course, I will have it cleaned for whoever buys it. Here are pics of me in it, and also on the model. I paid $1,950 before tax on it. I'll also add that it was very comfortable!! PM me if you're interested....

Not perfect- but fine!! Quote: Originally Posted by Jen1407 Your pictures are amazing. I hope I can convince my FI to do a TTD session. You can do it- trust me. It took me awhile. 3. Thanks everyone! It was such a fun time- everyone that is doing them should be excited!! Lisa- def do it when you go back down- heck, Ry and I may do another for anniversary!!! haha
  4. I say you go to where it all started out- Island Princess I checked on 1and1.com and islandprincessdesigns.com is available! This site will also tell you if other domain names are available or not. Best of luck- I think it's a fab idea! I would have used your services HANDS DOWN
  5. We are color twins!! I love your TTD photos SO much! Sunset was such a gorgeous time to do it! You guys look amazing CONGRATS!
  6. OK and can you say SUN IN THE EYES! My sensitive eyes with contacts were BURNING!! But Cici was sweet enough to do the 'close your eyes and when I say 3, OPEN THEM!'
  7. I am so excited! As some of you know, having now DH do a TTD session took some work- some bartering, some begging, a little pouting, and maybe even a dash of bribery But he finally gave in. And in his OWN words, he is SO glad that he did! We both had a freaking blast- if you can't tell by every pic that I'm in cracking up! It was such a fun and romantic session- Cecilia is wonderful! We are not 'photography' people, and needed much direction. She was so patient and super sweet. I HIGHLY recommend her to everyone! When she got to our resort, it was about to rain. I was still in my regular clothes carrying my dress because I didn't want to make a fuss in the lobby. She told us that we should hurry because the storm was coming, and sure enough- we set one foot outside and it starts DOWNPOURING! No biggie though- we waited less than 10 minutes and it was over, and only blue skies. We ran down to the beach, and I changed in front of everyone! HAHA. Cici told me that it was the first time anyone had done that- leave it to me! I hope you enjoy the pics as much as we do. Thank you Cecilia! You are AWESOME!! Me on changing on the beach! More.......!
  8. Ladies!!!! I am back and driving 5 hours home from the airport- have to admit- I am SO sorry it's over!!!! But our wedding was PERFECT!!!!!! I have a ton of details to share, and tons of pics- I already got my TTD pics back!! My friends will be posting them on fb too- I already changed my profile pic the second I hit US soil:) add me if you want- Jannae Ibarra. Promise I'll be back soon w a review!! Xoxoxoxoxo
  9. Hey All!!!! No surfing web at new job so MIA status for me lately! I haven't had a chance to read through- except Nicola- CONGRATS!! Super happy that they get to come. I leave late tonight and arrive in MEXICO tomorrow!!! It truly doesn't seem real.... I still have to cut the pages of our guestbooks and put them together, but I'll do that on the way to the airport. I had to nix my maraca tags because I just don't have time! Ok, off for some waxing, then to PARADISE!

Our date is Dec. 11, they would be fab for our guests to receive! The ornaments were actually really easy, once you got them down. I bought styrofoam balls from the craft store, fabric, ribbon and the rhinestone strands. W/ the balls, you use rubber bands to create the lines that you will cut slits w/ a knife. You then cut the fabric to stuff into the slits, then decorate with ribbon! we used little pins to hold the fabric in place if it wouldn't fit- that was the hardest part- the decorating was the fun part! I also used pins to pin the ribbon down. Don't know if you can see, but we got ribbon w/ our name and wedding date on it hope this helps!!

Here is the instructions on how to do the blinging- it takes a little time, but it's actually a lot of fun! http://bestdestinationwedding.com/fo...arments-32590/
  12. Posted guys!!! Yay!! Karen- we had to reinstall operating system too. What a PITA!! Oh no Sarah!! I'm so glad you found it though- WOW. We're really close!! Thanks Carolina(and everyone else!) Leaving in 4 days!!!!! Ok I need to get off of the computer and start finishing stuff that's not done!!
  13. For our cocktail hour, we are doing a postcard guestbook, as well as cigars for adults, and fun stuff for the kids *also totally an idea from a fellow BDW’er* (pirate hats, swords, glow wands, fairy wings, feather boa-unfortunately, they are all packaged, no pics!). These are the signs that I made for both: Our custom cake topper (mrsclay.com)- I really wanted to incorporate our furbaby into the mix, but didn’t know how to do it- until I came upon this idea from Island Princess- Gracias!: Maraca inspiration- we are getting ours in our colors from the fabulous Mishka w/ the palm trees from our monogram- I don’t get to see them until wedding day- so it will be a fun surprise!: FMIL and I made these Christmas ornaments for our family members. It is something that she did with both of her daughters, and I was so touched to see that she wanted to do them with me! She adores them, and loves to talk about how exciting it is every Christmas to be decorating the tree and to be reminded of the wedding. She is so cute- I am super blessed to have such fabulous inlaws!: I think that's about it!!!!! Viva Mexico!!
  14. Since FI and I eat hot sauce on EVERYTHING, we got these personalized bottles to give to each couple at the welcome dinner- they say ‘Jannae and Ryan’s hot and spicy’ (from theknot.com): Bouquet inspiration: Welcome Books:didn’t get a pic of these yet, but I totally stole this idea form another fab BDW’er- Thanks! Cups for guests to use at the resorts (vendor on ebay), also a referral from a bride here!: Fans for ceremony: Chairbows- thanks LadyDi for the inspiration of putting two colors together!:
  15. Girls will carry pails w/ flower petals decorated like this one (all bought at Target), the boys will carry a plain one (no flowers or ribbons!) with sand, and the rings in them: Since the kids are our bridal party, I made the girls ‘blinged’ tanks w/ their names and got them semi matching skirts for the welcome dinner, and for the boys, camo underwater watches: Our Save the Date Shot Kits (shot glasses from discountmugs.com- and didn’t have any problems that previous brides have had)- they were a HIT with our guests! And have to give total credit to FI for the idea of these- it was one thing that he couldn’t live without: Luggage tags – Thanks for the template fellow BDWer! (all plastic materials purchased from Amazon.com):
  16. Earrings (from bridal shop that I got my dress from), and I will wear a flower in my hair similar to the TTD one: Trash the dress-I got the knockoff from gianinar bridal of my second favorite dress, Maggie Sotteros ‘Reese’: TTD accessories: Grooms attire- suit and shirt from Studio suits in the Irish linen. Shoes from Aldo: Kiddos outfits (girls from Nordstroms, boys from Gap):
  17. My getting ready outfit (I blinged ‘Ryan’s Bride’ on the jumper): My ‘Something Blue’ (all blinging I did using instructions from MsShellys post- Thanks!): My dress on the model, San Patrick/Pronovias ‘Palmares’: And on me (final fitting): Shoes (from zappos.com):
  18. YAY!!! We leave for Mexico in 4 days!!!!!! Of course I have to thank Tammy, and every single BDW'er on here for making this time fabulous. If it weren't for your ideas, information, and most of all SUPPORT (and I definitely needed it!!) I wouldn't have such great things to show you all. Ok, on to the pics! The engagement- We moved to SF after FI graduated law school. Little did I know, he had purchased the ring before we moved! I didn’t get it until 6 months later, because he was doing contract work, and wouldn’t propose until he had a settled job and could ‘take care of me’. So he got one, we went down to Monterey for the weekend, and he proposed on the beach- it was perfect!! The Rings!!: First thing we got w/ our color scheme was the monogram- by ayleebits: My two great bachelorette parties- I heart my friends!!:
  19. Haha laptop pixie dust!! No luck- apparently some macs got a bad update or something- thankfully FI is on it..... That is, whenever he gets home.... Thanks guys! Can't was it to post it!!
  20. I've been SO excited to post my planning thread- I've kept a word document along the way- minimal- and I worked on it a great deal last night for a few hours, taking a lot of pics, uploading, etc. I have the WHOLE thing in a word doc ready to post. I get onto the forum, start to post in the proper area. And Then... Laptop is dead!! I'm writing this from my phone- hope the laptop will come back to life soon- I don't have time before the wedding to do it again Just wanted to share the Murphys law story- of course I'll post asap
  21. I didn't count them because there are 3 of them under 5 years old (the other is 7) and we were cutting it really close to paying an extra X amount for the next highest wedding package. They really don't eat, they are in the wedding party, so they don't need a seat, etc.
