  16. FH and I are red wine lovers. Our faves and they're reasonably priced, Secco-Bertani Valopolicella - Italy and Casillero del Diablo Carmenere - Chile. Oh and to finish the evening... a delicious aged Tawny Porto yum We'll be bringing a bottle with us to enjoy on our honeymoon.

I bought a secondhand Maggie, satin with chiffon overlay. It hadn't been drycleaned so there was dirt around the bottom & train and some bronzer around the inside bodice that needed to be removed. I didn't trust that a drycleaning would get it all out so I cleaned it myself. I just used arm & hammer laundry detergent and a soft eyebrow brush to clean spot clean and rinse. Then I filled the tub with cool water and a bit of detergent and dunked the whole dress in, swished it around then rinsed a couple times, squeezed the excess water out. Let it dry flat on some towels to get more water out, so it wasn't too heavy. Then finally hung it to dry in the basement for a day and it looks better than new and smells fresh and... no water marks. Not sure I'd try this with lace or silk though.
  19. Mike's videos look soo amazing. I got a quote from him but still can't convince FH to book him. We already have 5 hrs of photography with TTD so he finds the video would be too much. sigh... I'm gonna have to work on this, LOL BTW, jkcz0702 your pics are gorgeous! The TTD shots are breathtaking, lucky girl.

We're playing it safe and have certified copies and Apostilles for everything. Yes, I'm pretty anal retentive. Yeah, we found there were just so many hoops to jump to getting legally married in Mexico, residency requirement, blood tests, paperwork this, that... So, we opted to have our civil ceremony at home instead.
