    sascolo - the resort we are getting married at does not allow personalized vows but after the minister does reads the standard vows you can add your own. But we are not going to. I did find a really nice sand ceremony script about the sand and water etc. I emailed the stateside coordinator and she said they have a standard script for that as well and she sent it to me and its very standard. So I am going to ask the wedding coordinator at the resort if the minister could read the one I want and if not I might just have FFL to read it.

    I am very worried, I don't want my video showing me flipping my hair off my face lol. I am going to wear it up (might consider half up, half down) and wearing it all down for TTD

    I ordered the one that was free, I am pretty sure it was the small one. Its big enough for the OOT stuff!

    I am 49 and need to lose about 40 lbs, my dress shopping experience was not good at first, then I just started to laugh about it. All the sample sizes were a 6 lol and I am a 16 so you can just imagine. I ended up also with a Maggie I just love her dresses I am going next month to get measured and order the ODESSA. I have about 12 coming also family and close friends. I am getting married July 8, 2011 Couples Sans Souci Ocho Rios, Jamaica

    This is my 2nd wedding for both of us. Our kids are grown, I am having my son and daughter walk me down the aisle and if FI daughter comes she will be walking FI down the aisle.

    I went to Enchanting Memories on Sat. to meet with Debbie. I went in with a bouquet in mind and after seeing her work and being able to touch the real touch flowers I have totally changed my mind on the flowers that I will be using. Debbie was so helpful making suggestions of what would work with my colour scheme. I left a deposit for her to start putting some ideas together for me. I have no doubt in my mind that my flowers will look amazing. I will post pictures when I receive them.

    Marcia's assistant contacted me thru email, apparently they can book a 1 nite stay at couples sans souci, so I am going to go with that route and see what happens. Something so simple is starting to become stressfull.

    Well I phoned Couples reservation department yesterday and they have a 3- night minimum stay. I even stetched the truth and told them my relatives lived in Jamaica and were coming for the wedding and only needed a 1 nite stay but they would not bend the rules. so it looks like I am going to have to do my TTD the same day as the wedding. Even if I pay for Marcia to stay at a different hotel I would still have my 500.00 vendors fee plus for the next day the resort charges 100.00 for Marcia and 100.00 for her assisitant. I am not prepared to add any more to my budget.

    I am getting married July 8/11 and we are actually booking this weekend, but I have secured a group rate for the entire package with Air Canada, I have watched the resort (couples sans souci) and it hardly goes on sale compared to most other resorts. Your travel agent is right, prices do tend to drop closer. I had planned on booking in Jan or Feb but then we got an amazing rate and I did not want to lose it.
