happy new year, MP brides! 2009 is our wedding year so cheers to you and all the wedding planning here. =)
thanks for the beach ceremony pictures, mexico2009! the beach is actually turqoise! it's not the best i've seen, but better than what everyone keeps saying. nice!
i'm not sure if the group deals are different. are you referring to the group rate? if so, that group rate applies to ANY wedding packages (religious, civil, symbolic, ect.)
hope this helps.
thank you, KLO, for sharing your experience and pictures with us! i'm getting married at the chapel gazebo for the catholic ceremony so i greatly appreciate the information you've provided so far. =)
i'm getting married in a Catholic Ceremony in Cancun and our wedding is outdoors...in a chapel gazebo though. make sure you plan accordingly because the priest will need you to fullfill the requirememts with your local diocese.
have you taken all the marriage prep classes and received confirmation?

great question!!! i'm a total traditional girl so i'm choosing to wait till the ceremony to see each other. up to now my FI has NO IDEA of what bridal look i will have or an idea of what shape silhouette my dress is!
i want him to see me for the first time while he's waiting for me at the altar. =)
we are buying time to take pictures after the ceremony by allowing about 2 hours for photography:
1-hour professional pictures with wedding entourage, family members, etc
1-hour alone photography of my FI and us.
then we join the cocktail party after picture taking.
the choice is up to you. let your heart decide =)
ugh... so i've completely lost it... i'm nearing $10,000 just for dresses (+alterations) and accessories alone.
why do weddings have to be so expensive? budget is so depressing. and it only gets more expensive when you start a family. what the heck am i going to do!
i say go for it! it's dressy enough because the color is black and it's a long dress. it's very DW! you could totally rock it with loose waves in your hair and a killer dainty flat sandals.
of course dont forget the shiny lip gloss! =)
hi cutierosie, i sent you a PM with info on my hairstylist. you should contact her! she's wonderful.
my roots are so grown out! i'm actually going to see her this Saturday to change my hair color for the winter---going for a darker shade for the cold season =)
take your dress and try different veils with your dress on! you will see how much your look will change depending on the type of veil you wear. veil shopping is so much fun! =)
ooh good questions mrsfuturekeister! i'm wondering about the carriage ride to the Catholic Gazebo as well! Hopefully someone will answer =)
welcome to the thread!
best bet is through your hotel or shuttle services that are reputable... that way everyone stays together.
transportation is included with our hotel rate so that makes it a lot easier for us and our guests.
you look beautiful! is your dress a 2-piece?
i like how your veil gathers volume at the top and cascades down your shoulders. you look glowing already! =)
