  1. You have been such a help, thank you so much!
  2. Thank you!!! Can I ask what ceremony and package you chose?
  3. One more question...what is the difference between the religious, legal and symbolic ceremonies? We are thinking of getting married in the states before we go and just not telling anyone. Does the symbolic wedding state that it is just a symbolic wedding for the guests because I really would want them to think of it as our actual wedding, just like we will.
  4. OK, so I have some questions and haven't been able to explicitly find the answers, I thought you wonderful ladies might know... 1) If you book say the free package, can you upgrade later if you need/want to? Or, if you book a higher tier package, can you downgrade at a later point? Is there a specific timeframe in which you must confirm the actual package, not just date? 2) The free package does not appear to include a dinner reception. For those of you who have had the free package and guests, what have you done. We will likely have somewhere between 8-15 guests. Thanks for your help!!
  5. I completely understand your pain! I have lost 15 points in the last two and a half months and I think all of it has been in my hands, feet and chest...not the areas that I would like to loose weight from!
  6. Aww, that is so sweet!! You are a lucky lady (and he is a lucky man, too)!!
  7. I don't have either of those printers specifically, but I have an epson cx6000 that produces WONDERFUL images. I had a canon right before I got the epson and found the ink cartridges to run out VERY quickly, the inkjets clogged frequently and the overall quality was poor. From a brand name quality standpoint, I would choose the epson.
  8. This is an interesting thread, it makes me feel better to know that in my head it is ok to limit the amount of time people stay so that we can have a little time to ourselves. We don't have anything booked yet (we have JUST started planning) but we are planning to take a 10 day trip. It's nice to know that I shouldn't feel obligated to have people stay with us all ten days.
  9. Great info, thanks. We try to use reusable bags when we go grocery shopping, and are finally starting to get into the habit. It's hard to remember to take bags to the store with you when you go in the beginning, but maybe all of the extra reasons will make it a little easier for me to remember. Again, thanks!
  10. We each only want one, but I have a feeling that it could be a problem. I want my MoH to be my best friend and he wants his BM to be his step brother that he is really close to. The problem is that his sister is a REALLY jealous person and will be miserable to deal with if she doesn't get to be in the wedding. Half of me wants to just let her deal with it because it is my day, not hers. The other half of me wants to have her as a bridesmaid just to keep things civil with her. Ugh...aren't destination weddings supposed to be easy?!
  11. Sounds fun! Dave works evenings, so I am home by myself without anything to do but look at this website in an addicted fashion. I have never done a book club before...but I would definitely be interested!
  12. Wow, I thought we dated for a long time before we got engaged (just over 5 years). By the time we get married it will be 6.5 years.
  13. Your pictures make me want to skip town and be there RIGHT NOW! They are beautiful!

    Hi

    Congrats and welcome!
  15. Congratulations and welcome! I am new to this forum also, and I have found it to be a great resource, as well as really addicting!
  16. Welcome. I think I actually saw a post the other day about someone having a Rabbi in Mexico...I will have to look and see if I can find it.
  17. What happens if you choose the free wedding but then only end up booking 3-4 rooms instead of 5? Does anyone know what the fee is then?
  18. I wish I would have found this website and this thead a couple of weeks ago!
  19. I have to vote for dress #1. They are both very beautiful, but Dress 1 just screams beautiful beach bride to me a little more.
  20. I was wondering how far it was from the resort to town. Am I dumb for asking this? Should i plan to just stay on resort property? When we went to Cozumel it was a 3-5 minute cab ride that cost $6 to get to town for the shopping, restaurants, clubs, etc. What is there to do outside of the resort and how long and at what cost can I expect to get there?
