I am pretty sure we will be getting married Nov 2009. I am hoping Nov 21, 2009. We haven't planned anything for sure yet, as we are waiting until this winter when we can book our flight and resort together. Is that a bad idea? How do you plan the wedding, do you choose the resort and flight and book it and then pray your resort has the spot, or vice versa? We are still in the really early stages of planning...can you tell?!

I am not sure that i understand that price list. $15 per image on CD, but then down in the lower section it says 100 images on CD for $570. Is that the cost for them just making the CD, for the time, or just the images...or is it everything.

I originally wanted to do a spring 2009 wedding, but we have decided to push it back to 2010 because we don't want to have to pay for any of our wedding on credit and we want our guests to have ample time to save money to join us and enjoy their vacation, also. I am thinking late April or early May. I know that is a long ways away, but I love looking at everyones weddings and am really excited to start planning my own. My question is, when did you start planning your wedding? How much time does it take to play everything? I know I can't really do much planning now as I can't even book flights or get prices for flights unless they are within 330-some days from today. Once you started your planning, what was your timeline for booking outside vendors such as your photographers. Is that something that I will need to do as soon as I book my wedding to make sure that I have someone?

I agree with you, bellemiche, I don't want a big elaborate wedding. I am looking for something special, on the beach, and reasonably priced. Thanks for letting me know what the cost was, the majority of us will also be flying out of Detroit.

Hi all! We got engaged in June and have since been trying to decide where to get married. We have toyed with everything from a traditional wedding at home, to doing something stateside to a small carribean destination wedding. We have decided that we want a carribean dest. wedding, but I can't figure out where to even start looking. We have a very small budget (about $5000) and the idea of an all inclusive resort sounds like it would be the most affordable option. We would only be paying for our travel and the wedding itself. We will likely have 6-15 guests who will pay their own travel expenses. Is it possible to have a wedding for about $5000? I really care about a beach location and the photography most and will be trying my best to save money where I can by making my own invitations and such. Are there any destinations that you love that are also very affordable? How much did you budget in for photography?

Those are beautiful, I absolutely love them! I have kind of an odd question though. How much did it cost to mail them? Was it one standard stamp or did it cost more. Sorry, I know it is a weird question.

Hello all! My name is Gina and I am new to this forum. I got engaged in June and we are still trying to work out the details. We are currently planning for a spring 2010 wedding in the Carribean or Mexico, but the destination is not yet known. We are hoping that by giving friends and family that much time to save and prepare, that we will have several of our close friends and family attend the wedding. If anyone has any suggestions on all inclusive style resorts for a wedding that are inexpensive and fabulous, please let me know!
