Hi ladies!! I haven't been on her much lately as I've been trying to get my business up and running. I'd LOVE to be a vendor on here. I know there are fees and rules but the link isn't working. Let me know if it's just me or fixed or what not! Cause I can't wait to be a vendor!

There should be tracking number no matter what. And chances are if you paid through paypal they used paypal to print the label. If so you can go back to your record on paypal and it'll show if the item was sent and if they used the paypal printing then there would be a tracking number there.

DH's sister and brother are both Marines. There has been some stuff the last few days happening that doesn't surprise me if they put a ban. Although for our wedding in August they did have to have approval. They were told had it been one of the many border towns or areas w/ the many troubles of the drug war they wouldn't have been able to go. That was when there was alot going on. But even though we were going to the Riviera and at that time I believe the only drug war death there had been one plotted out against a mexican politician. But they still had to have approval to go Mexico. SIL was able to do her paperwork a couple months out but wrote in the wrong days she'd be there and had to resubmit in the couple of weeks before the wedding but still got approval. But she did have a hold up because she needed proof that it was her brother (something official of his saying the same last name) and that we were having a wedding. The hotel owner and our WC wrote letters for us saying that we were having a wedding, on a certain day, etc, and we sent invoices of our hotel blocks and contract w/ the hotel. As soon as they saw all of that they instantly approved her leave to Mexico

I had first thought about mats but then decided that it would be uncomfortable for our guests. We ended up having everyone standing in a circle similar to a traditional mexican wedding. But once again like the other girls have said its about comfort, short dresses, older people, looking up especially depending on what time of day will they end up looking up into the sun to see you? Just things to consider

You can try and take them with you, but it is prohibited to take homemade baked goods into Mexico. Anything baked that you purchase and is wrapped w/ proper label is allowed. But I'm sure you can find somewhere to pick them up in Mexico. I know in Akumal we bought them for our OOT bags from a bakery in the small town we had our wedding and they were only .30 cents each.

I packed all of mine into suitcases w/ other misc items, such as OOT bag stuff. I even brought along all of my glass centerpieces and nothing was ruined. Some petals had a couple creases but I let them out when we got there and with the heat and humidity they easily came unfolded and were really easy to "fluff"

Welcome, welcome!!! There are a couple of us who had beautiful Akumal weddings w/ out the assistance of a large hotel. You will love it I am sure!

Don't miss out on La Loncheria right outside the main entrance to Akumal. Looks like a run down food shack. But it is SOOOOO delicious. Tacos are perfection!!!! And if you're there for morning, french toast is also fantastic! And the price you just can't beat! We ate there for at least one meal almost everyday for 2 weeks!
