  1. I'm getting married at MP in 2 months and I agree with Deznchris, while you can't talk to the actual wedding coordinator, Florida office representatives are super helpful. They can get you most of the information you need working as a go-between you and the hotel. Just keep on them, they sometimes forget your questions. Feel free to ask if you have questions.

  3. I must not be very romantic because I'm looking at this hot guy taking his clothes off and all I'm thinking is who's going to do that laundry, that stuff doesn't come off easily.
  4. Yay, I looked at my information this morning and noticed that I am finally a member. This is so exciting! I've been waiting for this ever since I became a Junior Member. The scary thing is realizing that since I joined in April, I have done no work, I just sit on here and hit "Unread Posts" every few minutes. I would really hate to get fired right before the wedding. On the other hand, I'm a Member now, YAY.
  5. Your pictures are gorgeous, what a beautiful wedding. Congratulations.
  6. I decided on my centerpieces, favors and other stuff based on how much room they take. No glass, can't be heavy or bulky. I will try to pack everything into my and my FI's suitcases and whatever is left is going into my parents' and his parents' bags.
  7. From what I heard, they don't allow outside vendors, I'm not sure as I'm using their vendors. I know they don't allow shipments to the hotel. Something about liability due to high theft rates in Mexico.

  9. Is this the link: OLIVIERI - AOL Video I'm starting to think I have too much time on my hands at work, but I was intrigued by your post so I had to find him (the video I mean). The guy is hot. Doesn't say much for the pasta though, its so bad you just throw it around.
  10. Yay, another Moon Palace bride, welcome.
  11. I think there's going to be a line of BDW brides at this place once we get the contact information. What an awesome find.
  12. We have a honeymoon registry for our wedding and a regular gift registry for my shower (my MOH wanted me to get "stuff" for the shower, plus she was all excited about the scanning gun thing). For the shower registry, i think she is putting information in the invitations. We included a link to our wedding registry on our wedding website.
  13. I posted my bridesmaids gift ideas in another thread. For the groomsmen, we got a carricature done of all the boys, we will print and frame them for each BM. We think they will like it. Sorry about the size, haven't figured out how to shrink things yet.
  14. Well it looks like my wedding planning has come to a screetching halt. Everything that needs to be done either depends on having a final head count (which at this point is like, as my mom says, nailing jello to a tree) or needed to talk to my MIA WC. Quote: Still Need to Do: Finish table numbers project Buy GMs gifts Finish personalized napkins Purchase rocks and floating candles for centerpieces Purchase Favors Find music Talk to WC (was supposed to be assigned at 3 months, still MIA) regarding ceremony music (harpist), dinner menu, reception decorations, table sizes, etc. Figure out a way to pack everything Of that, the only thing I have done is purchase all groomsmen gifts. On a happy note, we're taking my parents out to dinner tonight to give them their "thank you" gift. I think they're going to love it.
  15. I wanted to get my girls a jewelry set that matched their dresses, which are blue. I found these on Avon.com and loved them: Necklace: AVON- Products Earings: AVON- Products They're super cute, and are a good size ( I was worried they would be tiny). I also got them little blue photo albums and getting them white tanktops that say "bridesmaid" or "maid of honor."
  16. My FI and his friends love water bombs. They take them to the beach and chase them around for hours (OMG they I made them sound like dogs), but they love them.
  17. Thank you for sharing your ideas, everything looked amazing, you did a great job.
  18. OMG, thank you so much, those are awesome, can't wait to get the contact information. YAY Wade.

IMHO, i just have too many other things to dedicate my time and energy to than worrying about the airfare prices at this point. we are less than 90 days away from the wedding and i am ok with the amount of guests who i know have already booked versus the ones i know still havent gotten airfare. I completely agree, I have babysat my guests through the entire process from finding good room deals, to helping everyone book their rooms, to reminding them to pay for the rooms, then to remind everyone to book airfare before all the good flights are full. Now last week I sent everyone an email telling them how much the prices have gone up since we booked our airfare a few months ago. I think I have done enough (too much actually, I feel like everyone's mother, we have a lot of single guys going and they're not good at the whole planning thing yet). If they can't go, well, it just sucks to be them. My parents and his parents are done, that's all the really matters, everyone else is just a bonus.
  20. MoWife, I'm so sorry. What a bunch of idiots, where else are they going to find someone to put up with those kids. I confess that I haven't done a full day of work since I joined this site back in April. I just can't seem to concentrate on anything but the wedding. Oh, I also strongly dislike my FI's mother. She is nuttier than a Snickers bar and her purpose in life is to make me look bad in front on the FI.
  21. Where are you getting the personalized Cancun shot glasses? We found shot glasses that will include our name and date, but they're not Cancun specific. Personalized Cancun ones would be awesome. My FI would love me forever if I got those.
  22. I tried joining the DW one on theknot, but had all kinds of problems with my login stuff and they never approved me to post, so I quit. They do have some good information through wedding reviews and individual girls' planning bios. I browse those, but don't participate the way I do here. I guess you can call me a "theknot.com lurker"
  23. We sent ours via email becuase we wanted to get the word out and I knew it would take forever to get everyone's address (I was so right too, that's a whole other story). It was great as far as letting everyone know, but not so good as some people didn't check their emails or it got junked. I just sent my invitations out early to make sure everyone had something tangible to look at. So while not tacky, it has both its positives and negatives.

OMG, I'm so with you, no matter how much weight I lose, its always there. I've done all kinds of back exercises and weights, nothing works. I'm open to suggestions.
  25. Wow, I hope they figure out what's causing this
