My sentiments exactly lol if its 25 its worth thinking of paying for the extra 5 but anymore it goes into waste of cash when they are AI anyway lol and if I know my lot they'll need to be dragged out of the bar anyway lmao

It sure does, if I had more than 20 people and was not getting it in the package I wouldn't do any of them but this way we aren't paying so i don't mind as much Good luck negotiating
  3. Your insurance should cover that, well I hope it would! but no register where you want you need the stuff people aren't bothered where you register as long as they can give you something
  4. I managed to get the prices for the hol for our guests on Thursday. Soo I tell FI and say get your lot sorted (this is a max of 3 people plus their partners and kids, not telling FMIL until after her wedding as we don't want the stress yet lol) I emailed him the info and thought right he'll get onto it, and then I told my lot, my MOH hasn't gotten back to me (not a surprise lol) but everyone else has, and I have their decisions. SOOO i speak to FI just now and say right this one is coming this one can't afford it etc, how about your lot and I get "errr dunno not spoken to anyone!" so i try to stay calm and say you need to do it this week and as I would like some idea as to who is coming or not! then I can amend the package or whatever. His reply "yeah yeah I'll do it this week!! and i need the details and i'm in the car lol" I said check your bloody email I sent it on Thursday lmao I mean is it hard to ring people who you've already asked, give them the info and say let me know please lmao well if he doesn't do it less people to worry about cause i'm sure as hell not lol He's on his way to his sisters so god knows what bright ideas she is going to have but you can bet she'll be saying well I think you should do this yada yada yada. Phew feel better now thanks lol
  5. holy cow how much I'd already decided I wasn't going to have it but that has just finalised it lol
  6. we aren't having one because we just can't agree lol we have total different ideas of music so it just wouldn't work and i was sick of fighting about it to be honest

  8. What a little git!! why couldn't he have worked it all out before stressing the hell out of you to then come up with a solution!! half the time I wish people would keept it shut until they have a solution, or not, then let you know !! at least its worked out well
  9. I'm not sure if you can get it in the states but I asked to be swapped to cerazette. My cousin is a family planning nurse and she said it was great so I thought i'd give it a go. It's great for me - no periods at all, no mood swings, not sure if I've out weight on cause i've been troughing chocolate too much lol

I've just put them on look underneath your last post
  12. If it's any help I'm booked for the 15th May and I arrive on the 11th I've been assured by the TA that that is ok. So I think as long as you arrive 4 days before you should be ok

I would just like to have some way of checking to make sure she is getting me a good deal. Good plan because its costing us a fortune to go for 2 weeks and as my aunt is on her own they are charging her an extra £500 for the privilege! So I wouldn't mind seeing what the rates are either as you can guarantee the agents will get it cheaper lol I just looked at how much my flights are lol we are being charged £1699 each for 14 nights and my aunt £2k cause she is on her own lol just checked the flights and we can fly there for £1000 for the 2 of us lol I'm defo checking the hotel prices because my aunt is paying well over the odds if thats the cost of the flight! Anyone know roughly the price of 2 weeks just for the hotel? for 2008 so it can give me some idea to fire at the TA on Monday lol
  14. Right!! I finally got a definitive response from Claudia and here it is lol Think it clears up a few questions that people were having, it still seems nuts to me that we only get 40 mins when technically we've paid for 1 - 2 hours lol but i'm negotiating lol "Claudia I really need the answers to these questions, I love your hotel and I do want my wedding there, but as I mentioned before the photograph position is worrying me to the point where I am re-considering my venue. 1. On the package on the Dreams website, when I originally asked for information in January, it was 50 photographs in the Ultimate Wedding Package and that was still the position when I sent you the Q&A in February and even today it still says 50 photographs. It does not say ceremony only on there anywhere. Why has that now changed to ceremony only? Other people that have booked at the same time and the same package have been advised that it is for pictures after the ceremony and some on the beach and around the hotel. Why is mine different when we are paying the same price? the photographer service is just for @ 40 minutes. 2. I understand the reception is not covered and that is fine I have no problem with that. Ok. 3. We are not bothered about a video can we swap the video for more photographs? yes he can stay longer to do more photos all over the areas 4. I note you now do not allow outside vendors, which photographs do you allo? Juan Navarro & Claudia Rodriguez 5. On the contract it says 50% must be paid by 15th May 2008. Can we change this date as it may be we will not have our flights available for booking at this time? Sure I can extend it to June 15th,08. 6. Is it 50% of the package price, ie $1325? yes No idea how much longer we have the photographer for tho and as you see she didn't really answer the question lmfao
  15. I think i've got it hang on i'll stick it on here tho so that hopefully you wont need to use your points. Also we've had to pick 2 appetizers and one menu for everyone! luckily our numbers are dropping fast so might not be too much of a problem. Hope this helps
  16. I'd tell them to poke off, if your guests are happy to pay the cost of change do it, its not gonna get any better and you are probably gonna get even more frustrated
  17. I'd have told them to bog off and cancel the other one and that you wanted your out of pocket expenses for the trouble its caused you!
  18. If she kicks off just remember the golden rules of kicking the crap out of her:- 1. NO witnesses 2. Hit the soft bits bruises aren't so obvious 3. Deny all knowledge lmao
  19. I wish I could have got away with a no kids rule!! but FI's best man has 3 kids! so we've had to pick a hotel that is kid friendly and its annoying me - we don't have kids but seem to be accommodating other peoples. Even my MOH is leaving hers at home lol I think if people don't like it they'll say but at the end of the day its your wedding so stuff them lol
  20. Look on the bright side i the inlaws don't come its a lot less grief!! I wish to hell mine weren't going and i've even restricted that to his mother and new husband. He's been warned if his sister turns up i'll have security chuck her out lol FI's response! "you'll have to beat me to it" lmao he's only asking his mum because he "feels he needs to"!! So look at it as a good thing she isn't coming, twisting and whinging on all the time and think about how great its going to be
  21. Quote: Originally Posted by Michelle&Steve new menus.. interesting.. could u post whats on these? thanks! I'll give it a go not sure if it'll work lol I had to let FI pick the menu because I won't much on there - i can't stand sea food unless its cod in batter lmao Menu.doc
  22. I've been dealing with Claudia and she hasn't told me either lol i would try and get it in writing that its ok just for your peace of mind
  23. I would LOVE to do that but FI insists on his friends etc so none of my lot can afford to go and so its just me and FI and his lot! Gr8 eh lmao My advice just go do it and tell them after its done cause I sure as hell wish I could
  24. Well lol I've had to pick my menu already lol and there is a difference between the silver and the gold prices. If you go over 20 on either you pay per person, I know this because they tried to charge me for an extra 7 people I wasn't having lol! Apparently there are new menus out which is what I got sent and its mainly sea food, so the kids and certainly me will not be eating it lol I think we may have to ditch it otherwise big big waste of cash! Thing is I don't know if the menu only changed for next year or whether it was this year 2 sorry! Pisses me off that I have to pick ONE menu a year in advance but hey one more thing to add to the ever growing list lmao
