  1. The free arch is the one that Heidi has a picture of in her thread. It is palm leaves with some type of red flower around it. Also on the beach gazebo there is some tool and flowers that they keep up for every wedding. We took some pictures there after the wedding. We got married on the beach and chose to get the bamboo arch (upgrade for $200). I have heard some people say they didn't like it but we thought it was really nice for the look we were going for. It also seems that they move it along the beach, becuause I have seen it in many differnet locations in other wedding pics. The beach gazebo is beautiful but we wanted to be right near the water and fully in the sand. The garden gazebo is very elegant but we were set on the beach location. Look thru Heidi's thread and you will see the pictures of what the locations look like. I hope this helps a little!
  2. How exciting!! Take this month and focus on you! This was the most stressful for me and I made myself sick! Take care of yourself and get ready for fun in the sun! And Becomming a MRS!!!
  3. I made my own from Hobby Lobby. they are the real touch. I only spent $80 and made my bouquet, 2 Bm, and 4 bouts.
  4. I feel sorry for all of you that are dealing with this. I was worried about Michael before we went but we planned on using him anyway. At the wedding was the first time we saw him and he was very accomidating to everything that we wanted. We were very happy with him and his work. I hope everything works out IRIE!
  5. I also tanned before we went and do not burn often. The sun in Jamaica is unforgiving! i really wish you good luck!
  6. We got there and the first two days did not burn at all. We all wore 50 spf and the day before the wedding we all burned and had great tan lines in our pictures. Scarcasm! I had to not care and said Im on the beach getting married and thought of it as ok. I think the best thing is a strapless dress and darkness! Ha. I really don't have a lot of answers for you sorry! Good luck!
  7. I almost forgot. Sandles Dunns River is right next door to the ROR and they have a pier but only for there guests.

I also saw what appeared to be an aisle runner, ON the sand. Am I correct in assuming that this still wouldn't be a great option, if wearing heels... Are these 3 (?) locations the only ones available? Any photographs of the pier/gazebo location would be very much appreciated! There are three locations at ROR. The beach gazebo, on the beach with an arch, or the pond gazebo. There are so many pictures on this forum of all of them. We got married on the beach and upgraded to the bamboo hopa(?) with the white tool on it. We were all bare foot. We did not get the aisle runner but they do have that as an option. I do not know how walking in the sand with heels would work. It was hard enough for me with bare feet. Search around the Jamaica forum and you will find pics of all locations for sure. Good Luck!
  9. Congratulations!! your pictures are beautiful!! We also had Newton. How funny! Congrats again!!

  16. I love Guitar Hero!!! My hubby hates it though, because I can BEAT him everytime. He can't stand that I am better than him at a video game. HA! I have been trying so hard to get the Rock Band but he wont get it. We have an 11 year old (that you can't get away from the video game for food) but we still don't have it. (I know because I will beat him at that too!) So yeah I am glad that I am not the only rocker girl around here
