Once in mexico we are planning on adding hot sauce (not for them to use while on their trip, but to take home as souvenir), and mexico playing cards.thats probably it. We were going to get pens as well... but you can buy mexican pens for cheaper online beforehand. We were also going to buy postcards in mexico, but Vista print works out to be WAY cheaper!

It will be a small ceremony, so i am thinking the aisle will be about 6 ft long, and 3 feet wide, covered in rose petals, plus extras for the signing table, and reception table. i guess i just have no idea what rose petals from a dozen roses looks like!

The Riu has rose petals bags... 25USD for a dozen roses worth of rose petals. Does anyone know how much this is? It doesnt sound like very much to me. I want to have a dense covering for petals for the aisle, some on the signing table, and a some on the dinner tables. Any suggestions? I feel like i am going to need like... 10 bags or more. has anyone done petals... and know how much to order? How many petals comes out of a dozen?

They have adult and junior sizes in black, white, hot pink, green, and blue. They are $2.44 each! I bought L and XL in juniors for my BM's, because the adult sizes were a bit too big for them i think. The quality is pretty good actually! These are a great deal if you are planning on doing your own tshirts with iron on transfer paper! They are regularily $7 (still not bad). Not sure how long the sale is on for. i am thinking they would be fun for all of the guests! Not just wedding party...... hmm

I would totally be interested! I prob only need 25-30. We could split the order 50/50! I am in Canada but I cant imagine the delivery fee being more than $15/$20? That a guess.... but I would totally be willing to pay that... that still works out to being just over $1 a book. What a deal! PM me if they are still up for grabs!

I paid $150 towards each dress. 4 dresses all together. Everyones situation is differrent. They are paying quite a bit of money to come to the wedding, and although they fought me on paying that much... the were very appreciative that i did. And they know that they may not get the most extravagant BM gifts now.

This might sound dumb... but how did you make your own round tags?

Maybe i am not searching correctly, but i couldnt find anything about this. Has anyone made their own tags,or seen anywhere that has instrustions on how to do this? I know it is easy to make labels, but what about tags. I have a monogram that i love...(THANKS SARAH) and want to make favor tags. Ideas?

We are doing the legal ceremony before we go as well. Some people in our family know as well as some friends... but our 'official wedding date' will be the one in mexico. We are going to do it... in our jeans...very casual, a week before we leave. After we 'say i do' at home we are not going to call each other our 'husband/wife', and we wont wear our rings. Not until after we say it in mexico! When we are old and gray, we want to remember our wedding day as the one when our family and friends were there.... our toes were in the sand.... etc etc. Cheesy? LOL

Order flowers ~ Select 3 songs for videographer ~ Get marriage license ~ Book legal ceremony in Canada(we are getting hitched first here) ~ Dress fitting 1 + 2 + maybe 3 ~ Find and order guys suits ~ Find and buy FI ring ~ Buy Oot bags ~ order/buy oot bag items ~ assemble oot bags ~ DIY monogramed chapstick ~ DIY sticker for bag, and labels ~ Order fans, buy ribbon, DIY tags, assemble fans. ~ Find and buy wedding day shoes + lingerie ~ Buy candy bags from Michaels, buy candy, make labels, assemble bags. ~ Order BM and bride parasols ~ find and order better wedding arch than resort provides ~ Buy 'guestbook/photo album Anyone else this far behind?

I am sorry if this has been posted before.... Does anyone know how flexible they are with their rule that 80% of wedding guests must be staying at the resort? This is the rule with all of their properties. Anyone know from experience?

Regarding the pics below (sent by saraha). HOW does her veil stay in?! Any ideas? This is how I want my hair for sure. If only i could look as beautiful as Avril! So what is under that veil to keep it on? A big giant knot?
