My mom actually loved a dress from the bridal store that I purchased my dress from. She wants to go back and ordered it but she is having a hard time deciding on a color. She gets upset with me because I dont tell her what color to get...lol. Im just not picky...I told her that her and my dad could wear whatever they want.

First of all Im so sorry that you are going through this. Its your wedding and you should have your wedding where ever your FI and you want it to be. In reality it is about the two of you. But one thing that you need to think about is what is important to you without having any regrets in the future. When my family found out about our destination wedding a really close cousin of mine told me that if I expected people to go to the wedding that I needed to change locations because why would someone pay to go to your wedding. My point to all this is that everyone is going to talk and you will be surprise at the people who are doing the talking because 9 times out of 10 its the closest family or friends. What does FI say about the whole situation?

We went to PV last November and when we were in the beach in the evening yes it was windy. How are you planning on doing the centerpieces? Im sure that if you have the candles in vases that you should be fine. Im sure this is not much help but its difficult to predict with wind.

Thank you Celina..I am really going to look into getting my flowers done at the Riu. This saves me the hassle of searching for a florist, especially since Im coordinating the wedding myself.

Since we are not having the ceremony at the riu we can not get one of there packages so this leaves us with choosing either the riu florist or an outside vendor. I just need to find out prices so that I can determine which route to go with.

Yes I know what you mean...I feel that I should be doing alot more but for now I just need to wait for guests to book. We just need to keep eachother updated so that we dont miss anything.

Can you ladies share who you used or will be using for a florist? I have yet to book a florist. I need to get bride's bouquet, bridesmaids, groom's and groomens boutenniers and also centerpieces. If you used the Riu's florist can you share prices with me. I really appreaciate it.
