My goal is to find one under $100 (including shipping) which seems pretty reasonable on ebay (even for new dresses).
  3. Aww congrats again! The story is so cute! And impressive he managed to keep it a secret all weekend.
  4. Congrats and Welcome Back! Any chance of getting a review and some pics?
  5. Dear fellow classmates, Please grow up! Honestly now, we are all in our 20's-30's and in a professional program... must we continue to act like immature high schoolers and fill our lives with drama? Just because one of you broke the rules and brought your BF to a no guests allowed fuction and one my brothers (fraternity) asked for you to apologize to the group for being the inconsiderate person you are... doesn't mean you should not drag our fraternity into the drama. You all voted to move the date. We didn't force any of you to do it. Not to mention it should never have been put on the original date to begin with. But yes we appreciate your consideration in doing so. However, the night has now come and gone. Making us apologize now for asking you to change it makes no sense. We did nothing wrong. We apologize that making it a Wed instead of a Friday interfered with you getting extemely intoxicated together... however that has never stopped you before. From the stories I heard many of you still had a wonderful time. So get over it. If one more class rep comes and asks me to apologize to somone I might just scream. Sincerely, Your unapologetic classmate

I found I got no where writing them but as soon as my Travel Agent wrote and called them she got thru no problem.. Sorry I'm slightly confused. We were unable to book anything through the Riu for the 2009 year until this February. How were they able to book in Sepetember? Also, I know that once people booked for their time on the website - even before it was completley confirmed - that time slot was taken off on the website. Thats how we could tell how fast Jan 09 was filling up? Has anyone else had this problem as well? I really don't want to bug them again about booking stuff as I was a bit of a pain in my original reservation process. Also - when I asked them how long to confirm before someone could take our spot. They said we would have ~3 months... but they would contact us before we lost it. (Not sure if I trust that... but?)
  7. Yay! Congrats... so very exciting! Can't wait to hear the details.
  8. Your pics are amazing! So many great shots... my favorite is the whole bridal party sitting on the dock splashing in the water. : ) I absolutely LOVE your dress... it is so beautifull! And your ceremony setup looked great! Congrats : )
  9. Everything looks so cute! Love the bright pink flowers. And can't wait to hear how the 7-in-1 dress goes! Looks so cute... but I chickened out in having my BMs order them. Yay to being able to check so many important things of your list!

Although the turquoise would be a nice complimentary color especially if you could find a shirt that ties in all of the colors. So, I don't know if that helped. I guess I did rule out the chocolate and the grape! LOL What color is your MOH in? Do you have a pic of the dress? I started playing around on the website and really like the rose color in the picture. But looking at the small square (and from what I remember of the sample swatch) the color isn't the same. That is my biggest concern... the store just had tiny swatches and a lot of them don't appear to look simialr to what the website has shown. The instore dress was the teal - which was really pretty but darker than what my mom wanted. I posted the chocolate and grape just for more options -but also don't think they really fit the color. Originally my color scheme was the hot pink and chocolate brown... but other than my invites - it really isnt happening. Has anyone ordered Mori Lee BM and have pics of what the color really looks like?
  11. LOL what a great story! It is awesome that they were able to surprise you... with so many people in on it - thats pretty impressive! Glad you had a great time (minus the puking and the fall)... and hope you feel better soon! Any chance we will get to see some pics?
  12. Yesterday my 3 current BMs and I went to try on the dress I chose for them one last time to make sure everyone was happy with it! The girls all loved it so they were measured and their orders are in! Yay! Well my mom came with us because I wanted her opinion as well before I ordered them. (She liked the BM dress as well). While we were waiting for a dressing room to open up we started looking around for a Mother of the Bride Dress. After being directed to the Mother of the Bride section we found that the styles really were not her (or our wedding) plus they were freaking expensive! So then we switched routes and started looking for a BM dress that would work. (She wanted more of a tea-length with some sort of straps). Well the first one she tried on, she loved! But now we have no clue what color to go with. The BM will be in hot pink/fuschia (see pic below) with hot pink/orange flowers. My FI will be in a tan/khaki suit. The GM will be in matching khaki pants to my FI and a short-sleeved white button up shirt (faint tropical pattern). My dad also has matching khaki pants to my FI but hasn't bought a shirt (waiting for my mom to choose). I don't want her to be matching (hot pink) to the BMs... but I want her to be in a color that will compliment the current outfits. I am having both her and my dad walk me down the aisle. Plus, my 2 sisters are BM and my brother a GM... so I want family photos to look nice. So anyways... what color do think for mom? She pointed out that she liked the turquoise and coral. Moms Dress- Mori Lee Bridesmaid 744 Turquoise... Coral (not what the little swatched looked like) ... Chocolate... Grape... BM Dress in fuschia: Flowers: Any thoughts/ideas?
