i got stressed trying to find the perfect song for me & my dad too. so i let him pick. he ended up picking a song i actually sort of hated, but it was still perfect anyway. my stepmom told me he spent a whole week on the computer going through music trying to find the perfect song. so then i didnt hate it as much when i realized that he spent soooo much time looking for what he thought was the perfect song for us. honestly, the only thing i remember is having such a fun time dancing with my dad, having that daddy-daughter moment, that i dont even remember the music playing!

wow, does she have a death wish for her bridesmaids? long black dresses in that kind of heat is totally inappropriate. how close are you with her? being that she's your stepdaughter you may want to have your husband approach her about it, or your other daughter. unless you're really close with her, i wouldnt get into it with her.

i just wanted to chime in that i love this book! we received it as a wedding gift (and i wish we'd received it as an engagement gift instead so i couldve had this knowledge before the wedding!). i'm planning on giving it to 3 girlfriends who are all engaged and having showers in the next few months.

supposedly it is such a secret when that show is supposed to be that even if you get tix to it, you dont even know its the favorites show until you get inside the studio because they want to keep it a secret so people will go nuts with excitement on camera!

how fun samantha! i have lived in chicago most of my life and have never been to the oprah show. the two times friends offered me tickets, i couldnt go! what a bummer. i always have fantasized about getting tickets to the christmas "oprah's favorites" shows haha

Hey all, My SIL is going to be vacationing with her girlfriends at Secrets Silversands this coming weekend (Fri the 24th to Sun the 26th). I asked her if she'd be willing to take photos of the resort (especially for Dreams Tulum ladies who have the option of being moved here before the end of this year) and she said she didn't mind. I'm just asking that if you want any specific pics, please post here with your request and I will put them all together and send it to her as a word doc on Thursday the 23rd in the evening. Thanks!

i have divorced parents and was uncomfortable putting all the parents names. instead what we did was use wording "together with their parents" and then our names so that it still mentioned parents but didnt get into specifics.

of course i was right look how many posts i have - i have been around here on the forum for a long time and have already been through it all with the catholic church down there. if you're going to do some readings to make it appear catholic, i can at least point you in the direction of some good resources if you want. just let me know.
