You should definitely send it. If he's being this difficult now, can you imagine his reaction when he finds out that everyone else received a STD but he didn't? Keep being the bigger person and in the meantime try to ignore him. I know this is easier said than done considering that this is family, but still try. This is supposed to be a happy time for you, not stressful!

Have you looked at dresses online? If not, maybe you should try looking online first. Pick out a couple of dresses that you think you'd love to wear & then make an appt to try them on. It helps if you find one bridal shop that carries multiple designers. That way when you go to the shop you can try on more than 1 dress. Also, if you have the time, wait, duh, you already said you don't have a lot of free time...lol. Well definitely avoid going to any bridal shop on the weekend. It seems that they are much more crowded then. I went during the week & in the middle of the day & the place was empty. I didn't have to worry about any other people looking at me or what I had on so I was more comfortable. Another lesson I learned, only go with 1 or 2 people max. The more people you take with you, the more opinions you get! Maybe your motivation will come when you look online & see something that jumps off the page & has you thinking "I've got to have that dress". But don't stress yourself out about it. Try to have fun with it as much as you can. Sorry for going on and on but I hope that helps a bit.

Hey DLyteful, This info is from an email from Chandlyn: You can get a private reception with an extra cost. Private receptions are held at the Plantation Restaurant and the extra cost is $500 USD for 2 hours (dinning & dancing) or $1,000 USD for 4 hours of dining & dancing. (The DJ is included) This includes the standard buffet menu. If you'd like an open bar its $10.00 for p/p for an open bar. Otherwise only white or red wine is served. There is a standard menu & there are other menu's available at additional costs. Hope this helps you!

Thanks again Morgan, I've been at this since yesterday. I think I'm going to try it once more & see what happens. I've uploaded like 7 different files to Vista Print and they still aren't right. I know they're "wondering what the hell is wrong with this lady!" I initially did this in Word & converted to PDF. Since I didnt do it in Power Point, I've just been trying to reconfigure in Word. Thanks for your instructions. One more try & then I'm handing this off to the FH!!!!

Ladies, You all are great. I've been thinking about going to Staples or Kinkos to get our STD postcards. But since its less expensive I'm definitely going to use VistaPrint. I've uploaded my image but I can't seem to get the dimensions correct. I had originally created it in Word & then had to convert it to a PDF but I guess I didnt do it correctly in terms of the size. Sighhhh. Any suggestions
