  1. I love your dresses! There is a store in toronto right near me - mind me asking if they were super pricey?
  2. OMG LOVE LOVE LOVE! Looks amazing! Gonna go and check out the website!
  3. Those look amazing! I will certainly be taking my inspiration from them..
  4. When I was in my early 20's RLS was a huge issue for me - What worked for me was increasing my exercise - making sure I was getting enough iron (since anemia is one of the causes!) and getting enough sleep!
  5. Ughhh! So sick of this weather - And today we Spring Forward so we lose an hour of sleep!
  6. Thank you SOOO MUCH! I was desperate for another option so this looks great!
  7. How about Spanks? They provide the smoothing option with the coverage and keep everything in..
  8. Elliptical trainer... Are you an "innie" or an "outie"?
  9. I LOVE IT! And it's not too formal at all - my skirt is bigger than that - honestly if you love it I say get it!
  10. .. When you tell your FI about something someone told you on the forum and his response is "are your forum friends invited to the wedding now too?"
  11. We are planning on doing group photos and then I wanted to have time for FI and I to do our own photos on the beach, the gazebo etc. The package did say cold appetizers but I refuse to have ham and asparagus or anything mousse like. My FI was fake-gagging and it made me sick!
  12. Your wedding is the same day as mine! I really like the idea of a surprise party - if you wanted to do something private you could arrange for a dinner on the beach or something just the two of you!
  13. We had the hotel and the date and time, the information for our travel agent, our wedding website, and a note asking people to RSVP on our website.
  14. welcome and congrats! We did a site visit at the GBP last year and you made a great choice!
  15. When I was telling FI about all our "discussions" today he informed me that he sometimes thinks I'm cheating with my forum friends. Then we both burst out laughing! So we talked about the whole cocktails etc. and I am still not sure what to do - we figure after the ceremon people are going to mingle and have some pictures etc. We will probably have champagne but I just can't decide if we want to do appetizers.. or... just have people come back at 5:30 for reception for an hour and then sit down for dinner... Such a brutal decision but it's hard to say what to do - any other advice? What appetizers are you girls thinking of? (Some look revolting!)
  16. I would do a search as there are already a number of threads on this - we are getting married at 3:30 as the sun sets at 5:30 at that time of year and we wanted to ensure we had time for pictures!
  17. My mom has a second personality which has emerged. Everything I tell her the response is "whatever you two want" with that "I don't approve attitude" - I told her that my FMIL wants to throw me a shower in Alberta (in addition to the one my MOH and aunts are throwing to me) and her response was, "WHY"? WTF? Why? Because I am going to be her first DIL and she has no daughters of her own - get over it!
  18. I agree! The best time to go is when there is a wedding so you can see it for yourself! We went a year before but only because we hadn't decided on a resort and we were already there for someone else's wedding
  19. Becks I love your website (and I may be copying your test your Spanish section!) Awesome job!
  20. we haven't really decided - we are thinking of giving people an hour and a half off and then having them come for cocktails from 5:30 - 6:30 - but honestly we haven't decided yet - I know the sun sets at 5:30 so we want to make sure we get our pics in before then.. On the other hand - we may have cocktails from 4:00 - 5:30 and then start dinner - we have kids and my grandparents so I would rather start earlier and then the people who don't want to stay late can go to bed early while the rest of us party!
  21. We are debating the exact same thing! Ceremony is at 3:30 - we were thinking of doing cocktails from 4:00 - 5:00 but then I didn't want to start dinner until 6:00 - We were at a wedding in November in the RM and that is what they did - ceremony was at 3:00 - met for dinner at 6:00 and in all honesty we kind of wish something had been organized because we ended up going to the beach bar in our wedding clothes ... that being said it sort of depends on the resort too.. I think perhaps you could have people off from 4-6, do a cocktail reception from 6-7, then do dinner... after.. would that work?
  22. What about Apple Vacations? We have had friends use that and they seemed to have no problems..
