I know this is a personal question but we are having a really hard time biting the bullet and booking a photog - I was wondering if anyone wanted to share the types of packages that they have booked and the cost..

I hear ya! You will probably find a fair bit of availability if you are looking for something small (which I think you said it was just going to be the two of you!)

Alright girls! Here are the packages I have created with respect to price - Each is based on 40 adults - we have customized some of the menus for the Fantasy and Wish Packages and then made add ons to the Aqua Package - THanks to Becks advice I costed out the Wish and it's about 1000 bucks cheaper! ANy questions let me know! I didn't include the set up for the IPOD cause all the packages include ceremony music and we are leaning towards a DJ! Sometimes it seems that the feels are a little daunting but I honestly don't think that many resorts are much different - we figured it will probably cost us about $200 per person - including everything in our wedding e.g. flowers, dj, food, decorations, drinks etc.) Really I think the best advice is if you know what you want to try and negotiate with Perla or Elisa! In terms of photogs - we are close to booking ours! We have two photogs that we want to fly in for the week with us and they are providing us a package which is essentially $5000 which includes Engagement shoot, wedding day, ttd, all week unlimited photography and travel and accom for the two of them! I told Elisa that they were part of our guest list and that was fine - I don't have to pay the fee cause they are staying with us for the week!

It's possible although I don't know for sure - the reason we picked our resort is because they only do one wedding a day! Did you do a forum search?

My parents stayed at the Excellence last year and said it was beautiful - they do adults only resorts twice a year and they said Excellence was wonderful!

Welcome fellow Canadian! It is certainly overwhelming at first - it took us 4 months to finally decided on a resort which I think is the hardest part for most people. We picked a resort using a lot of information from this forum, trip advisor, Debbies Carribean reviews etc., looking at pics, websites etc. Once we had decided on a resort we contacted a Travel Agent and we were able to get an all-inclusive group rate through Air Canada Vacations. We have people coming from Toronto and Calgary if that helps - I think the best way to go (and what we found was cheapest) is to get a package!

I think you are probably getting the letters because you haven't downloaded the fonts - if you go back to the first post there is a probably a link to the fonts you neeed to download! And don't worry about thinking too hard - i had the "G" too in the beginning!

I don't think you should cave if you don't want one! You don't need a bridal party to sign the papers - you can have "witnesses" that aren't your wedding party. FI's best friend got married in mexico in November and there was no wedding party and it was beautiful! FI was a witness as was another girl and they just had someone give the rings to the judge before the ceremony. We are only having my sis and his bro - I think for us that works bc we each only having one sibling and frankly we didn't want to make things difficult!

HOLY S*%T! That is still crazy - we are expecting about 50 and I thought that was a lot - but true enough - would have been over 200 with the crazy italians!

Just looked at your ticker - tell me you are not having 180 adults - WOWSER!

FI really wants "Somebody" by Depeche Mode - not sure I can deal with Depeche Mode but I need to come up with a better alternative!
