It's definitely not too early to start planning. You can reserve reception locations and hair/makeup people in advance and the good ones go early! Just less things to worry about the more down the line it gets

We did the bad thing and went tanning at the salon for about a month before we left for Maui. I didn't want to worry about the tan lines thing at all.
