    I do postcards rsvps with all of my clients, its so much easier that way. It says money on the envelopes that you would normally need and for postage! I do a 4x6 postcard which fits the usps requirements.

    I think the best way is for you to talk to a travel agent, like Erika said Tammy (Host) is fabulous! I used her for my wedding and she set up a room block and was able to get great rates for our guests. I paid for our three rooms, for both bridesmaid's and their husbands and for the groomsmen (they were single and shared a room).

    I wanted to do a welcome dinner but we were worried about too much family interaction since both sides of our parents were divorced. My mom actually just went down to the buffet restraunt one night and just asked them to put tables together and that there was a bunch of us going to eat there. I dont know if they necessarily liked that but there was probably 25 of us down there eating and it was great and we did not have to pay anything extra either which was fantastic!
