I think it will be a beautiful place to have a wedding but we just didn't feel it. I think it felt a little too quiet for us, well not actually for FI and me, but for all the guests that will be coming. Also, we want to be married in a church and there was not one close enough and it would have been a logistical nightmare to transport everyone back and forth to the church. Best of luck with your wedding. It really is a lovely place. Melissa Thanks Melissa! I feel much better now!! Actually, we're getting married in a church in Playa about 20 minutes (with no traffic) away... but I can see if you have 80 guests that would be a nightmare. Thanks again! Monika
  3. Congradulations on picking your site!! Can I ask, what was wrong, or what didn't you like about the Paradisus? We're getting married there in Nov and I just want to be prepared. Thanks! monika
  4. Happy Birthday!! Anything special planned?

Ohhhh.. great idea I'll have to try that one! I'm determined at least one day a week to do something nice for myself so maybe this week I'll have to do a mini beauty season and try this. I'll let you know how it goes.

  7. Undereye circles have pleged me for years, since I remember. According to my cosmetic surgeon (yes I have even consulted one for this), its a cause of thin skin under the eyes which allow the blood vessels to show through. He recommended using AHAVA, Mineral Eye Cream to draw out some of the mosture from the skin in order to shrink and minimize the blood vessels. Just started it, so I don't know if it works, it typically takes 6-8 weeks to see any difference. I also use Keromask Masking Cream as a concealer. Oldly enough, whenever I'm on vacation on the beach, my undereye circles disappear... I think its being in the sun and drying out my skinn that works (I don't tan). Good Luck, I know its a huge pain in the A#$. Monika
  8. I'm so sorry. I'm sure your not the only one who has this or has come through this situation, there are alternatives out there... this doensn't mean the end of your dreams. If doctors can get a 60 year old woman pregnant, I'm sure as hell that they can help you.
  9. Why don't you contact them and ask them. I'm sure if you told them why you wanted to know they would tell you. Good Luck!

Maybe you just have one of those faces that look soooo familiar. I get that all the time. I've been to the hous of brides in Schamburg, but decided in the end to just get my dress made by a seamstress, she's really good... if you need alterations. She's Polish (I say this because Polish seamstresses are usually good) and she's in Arlington Heights. I can give you her info if you need.
  11. I love the first one!! It looks so unique, what gown store are you in? BTW - you look so familiar. Did you go to DePaul by any chance?
  12. Its Beautiful!! And you look so happy in it, that's the best part!!

If you do you will be responsible for those guests who decide not to come. Tell your TA you will not do this. She should have an alternative. If not, don't use her.
  14. I'm so sorry for your loss. I can not even imagine how you must feel right now. You are incredable brave and strong to be taking care of his arrangements, not many people would be willing to do so even if forced. I know I wouldn't. I hope you recieve the closer you want and at least some piece of mind. We are all here for you.
  15. Welcome Claire!! We're getting married at the Paradisus on 11/29/07!!
  16. We're using Vincent from www.delsolphography.com/vincentguihard. I don't know if the prices have changed, but, in case they have please contact the photog. Hope this helps! Monika

  18. I am also trying to lose 5 lbs in 10, 9 weeks. I eat 5-6 small meals a day. And try to work out at least an hour and a half each day. I hate to say this because I HATE doing it, but run. I force myself to run 30 minutes each day and then get on the bike for 30 minutes, do 300 crunches on a workout ball, and 300 leg lifts. I hate it. But I have to do it. How about incorporating cottage cheese into your diet, its full of protein and low in calories. I usually get the 1% lowfat cottage cheese and eat it for breakfast with some tomatoe slices... sounds sooooo apatizing I know. Good Luck! Monika
  19. BEAUTIFUL!!! I love them! Love how you two look, the location, the angles of the pictures, everything turned out great.
  20. Can't help you there. I hate my BC, nothing seems to work for me. And it seems like my gyno's answer to all of this is "try this" "try that"... I feel like a guinea pig. Sorry I know it suxs.
  21. what position are you looking for? in what field?
