My sister posts pics of brides from magazines all over the fridge so that if I feel tempted to stuff my face I will look at them and turn away. It never works for me but maybe it will for you. Ok I am now officially freaking out also. Wouldn't hotels lose money if they couldn't serve alcohol though? But I guess if its a law, its a law. Uggh this is so annoying. This is just like the time I went to Paris and the mass transportation workers went on strike and by the time I got to the airport I was not allowed on the plane and I had to stay in a shady hotel. -Glenda

I would also recommend NOBU b/c I absolutely love it but if it's too steep maybe you would like PINK TACO at the Hard Rock Hotel. I absolutely love it. It's mexican food so it could go with the theme of your Cabo wedding. From what I remember the food was not very expensive and it is a really nice, fun atmosphere. -Glenda

That is crazy! Almost as crazy as stealing someone's wedding pics. If my friend ever gave me that contract I would have written up a contract right back with a lot of legal jargon that basically told her she was a bitch and that she could take her heinous pistachio BM dress and eat it along with her Jenny Craig meal and the rest of the BS she feeds herself. Christa thank you for sharing your thoughts with us. You sound so truly happy and that makes me happy. I really am so glad that everything worked out perfectly for you. It's nice to see people's hardwork and planning come together for a special event. I especially loved reading the part about cementing your new family. As far as the barter society I am so in!! Guys I figured it out. All these rude people are related to the guy at Melissa's (mexicomelissa) wedding who dumped his gf in the middle of their vacation!!! I'm going to start telling my pregnant friends "Could you not give birth on the 5th? It's a really bad day for me, I have a teeth cleaning appointment that day." "Umm Jessica could you tell your ill mother if she wouldn't mind dying after December 25th? I don't want to spend my holidays sitting shiva. Thanks, I really appreciate it." Could you imagine if you said things like this to people? No of course not. Then why the hell would people think it is appropriate to say rude things like "It really hurts my feelings that I am not invited to your wedding." or "Is your wedding date set in stone b/c my daughter will still be in school at that time." -Glenda

Melissa this was one of my favorite ideas and then Tammy (the host) told me not to waste my money b/c you will end up spending so much money getting the pics developed and they will be blurry, crappy pics that wasted people took. Welcome! LadyP gave you some great info to start with (Yay LadyP!). The location and the date are the most important things to pick out. Decide whether or not you want an all-inclusive resort. Also once you pick the location and the date I would start looking for a photog, as these can book up quickly. Let us know what else we can help you with. -Glenda

I agree with Merryme I would go for a cranberry color. I think it blends the best with your floral colors. I love aquas and fushcias too but I think the coral works better and it is an easier color to pull off. Amy is right mango washes a lot of people out and lime green can also have the same effect if a BM is too pale. -Glenda
