Oh Drea your FMIL is insatiable! I feel nothing is ever going to make her happy. And you are so cute, I can tell you love your FI and don't care if you get married in the back of a pickup truck as long as you marry the love of your life. I don't understand why this woman is making things so difficult for you. You have been more than accomodating giving up your original plans for Mexico and willing to cut your list. I don't even know what to say at this point, except that I'm here for you and I hope everything works out.

What about those ebay vendors that make dresses in china? I think a couple of people on here got their dresses made that way. Its worth a try. It won't be exactly the same but it could work out if your looking to save money. And if worse came to worse you could use it as a trash the dress or something.

The fact that neither Sarah nor TammyM have ever won MOTM is mind boggoling to say the least. They def deserve it every month. LOL. I also want to nominate Catherine (Lady P) (I knew I forgot someone when I was trying to remember who my second person was going to be) b/c she is so helpful and welcoming to everyone. And just like Courtney she is extremely supportive. ~Tammy I think we should have one MOTM that is recently married so she can be acknowledged for all her helpfulness to future brides and one MOTM that is newer such as Courtney and Catherine who are not as close to their wedding date but are always so helpful and welcoming to new brides. And Tammy M should just get her post whore title, b/c gosh darnit she deserves it!!!

That dress is really stunning! Is this the same dress that Rachel said she wanted? The one she posted in the Show us your wedding dress section? I wish I was that skinny then I would scoop it up. ~Christa I thought I read that the vendor will pay for shipping?

Don't worry everything will turn out allright. Unfortunately it never fits perfectly after the first alteration. But don't worry it will be okay. Like the other girls said it is easier to take a dress in than to let it out. If anything it just means your getting skinnier which is always a plus.

Jason I love everything. I've told you before I love the Mexican feel of it. And what a great bargain for that price! Nice job. You and Karen must be so excited. It is almost here!

Although I have no idea about any of this, I would err on the side of caution and give yourself as much time as possible so you don't get stressed. But seeing how your wedding is coming up so soon you def want to get started with alterations right away.

Personally I would tip them there. Can you figure out how much you want to give them ahead of time and bring it in an envelope? This way you won't have to worry about getting everything together. Although I'm sure if you sent a card later on and gave them a tip they wouldn't mind so it's okay.

April I think you can still trying to sell it. Why don't you post pics of what it looks like on your friend so we can get an idea for it. You'd be surprised there is always someone willing to buy a dress that has some problems with it as long as they can save some money.

Drea I think Amy's idea is great. This will be the easiest way to do it as well. If you put in a separate insert they will overlook it and you will never get an answer. This way it is all on one card.

OMG what a great idea! This is def a cute thing to do if you don't have too many guests. I'm sure all your guests will appreciate something like that. I def want to see it when your finished. You know a lot of us are going to want to copy your idea. Hehe.
