  1. Amy you look so good, CONGRATS! I can't believe that you are a zero. You and Susan and all the other skinny girls that I hate right now should go live on a separate BDW island where I don't have to see you guys. LOL. I'm just kidding. The dress looks absolutely gorgeous on you, I love it. I think your FI is going to flip when he sees you in it.
  2. Tammy, no meal in the world could express our gratitude for all the great things you have done for all the members of this forum. But we are glad to hear that you got your first meal, and we def hope that you and Steve enjoy it. We love this BDW family that you created and its so great to be able to share in this joyous occasion with you! Many congrats again to you and Steve! We can't wait to meet baby Jackson!
  3. Edna I'm so sorry I missed this. I hope you had a wonderful b-day.
  4. I've never been to either but I think that neither of them has a crazy night life. I believe that Dreams Cancun is much closer to the clubs and bars than Dreams Cabo is. If you really want a party place that is all-inclusive I would look at the RIU resorts or ME Melia. They have more nightlife activity going on and they are all-inclusive as well.

  6. Jamy that is so funny! This is why I put my depends on whenever I read your threads. LOL. ~Tammy that's a great story too. Did you guys see Superbad? When the cops break up the house party and the cop with the glasses is holding a beer dancing to NWO singing along to the words "F@ck the police!"? I was literally peeing my pants!!!!!!
  7. I'm jealous I wasn't at the after party Lisa, it looks like so much fun!
  8. An afternoon poem from Glenda: If you feel like a hoochie, Hike up your dress and fan your coochie. Lisa I love that second dress. You look like you had so much fun at your wedding that's how I think every bride should look as she parties on the happiest day of her life.

  11. What about Sunset Da Mona Lisa? It is really beautiful and you can rent out the place if you like so you will be overlooking the water and it will be private. I don't know if its on the corridor or not though. Sunset da Mona Lisa :: Home Page :: Italian Seafood Restaurant with Arch view in Cabo San Lucas, BCS, Mexico, Weddings, Events, Private Diners (former Da Giorgio) Or how about the Cabo San Lucas Country Club?
  12. A million congrats to Tammy & Steve! I can't wait to see a pic of Jackson.
  13. I know who the owner of this vehicle is... It has to be NEW YORK from FLAVOR OF LOVE!!!
  14. Considering I'm not married I spent $0 on my invites. LOL. I think I would def have them done but that is only b/c I am terrible at DIY. I think the most I would spend on an invite is $10 (but even that is a bit much). It would all depend on how much I really loved the invite.
  15. I love it, I think it's a really cute idea! And I love that you guys will do it in Hebrew, I'm sure your family in Isreal will love it. It is very unique and personalized and I think everyone will absolutely love it. Just make sure to include your wedding date and location so all the lazy people will have it.
  16. Haha Jessica that is funny!! ~Side story: One of my best friends was dating an older guy whose mother was a therapist or something. Anyway he ended up breaking up with my friend and when he did he gave her this whole written speech that was clearly written by his mother. He said things like "While I respect and acknowledge your feelings, I feel that your constant attachment to your mother shows that you are harboring feelings of retraction towards childhood. I just don't feel that this could ever work between us." LOL.
  17. Good luck Jen and don't give into those McD cravings!!
  18. Melissa did you notice that everyone else answered their hubby/FI for the first question and you and I answered our sisters? Hmmmm...
  19. 1. You are not alone. You are walking in the woods. Who is with you? My sister 2. You are walking in the woods. You see an animal. What kind of animal? wolf 3. What interaction takes place between you and the animal? I run he chases. 4. You walk deeper in the woods. You enter a clearing, and before you is your DREAM house. How big is it? Small. 5. Is your dream house surrounded by a fence? No. 6. You enter the house. You walk into the dining room and see the dining room table. What do you see on AND around it? Flowers 7. You exit the house and a cup is on the ground, what kind is it? small plastic cup 8. What do you do with the cup? throw it away 9. You walk to the edge of the property where you find yourself standing at a body of water. How big is the body of water? small. 10. How will you cross the water? swim. Stop and answer No cheating! What it is supposed to mean 1. The person who you are walking in the woods with is the most important person in your life. 2. The size of the animal is representative of your perception of the size of your problems in your life. 3. The severity of the interaction you have with the animal is representative of how you deal with your problems. 4. The size of your dream home is representative of the size of your ambition to solve your problems. 5. A lack of a fence is indicative of an open personality. People are welcome at all times. The presence of a fence indicates a closed personality. You'd prefer that people not drop by unannounced. 6. If your answer did NOT include food, flowers, or people, then you are generally unhappy. 7. The durability of the material with the cup is made of is representative of the perceived durability of your relationships. 8. What you did with the cup is representative of your attitude. 9. The size of the body of water is representative of the size of your sexual desire. 10. The way you cross the water is representative to how easy or hard you expect your life to be
  20. Okay this is cheesy so I take no offense if you don't like the idea, but when I was in a sorority in college and we had mixers we used to do themes. For example you could do "Famous Couples" one night. Instead of a name tag you make tags with famous couples. You hand them out beforehand (or when people arrive to a certain location at the resort) and then they have to find their counterpart. For example Aunt Jean's tag reads "Wilma". Now Aunt Jean has to go find "Fred". When she finds him they will introduce each other and start mingling, etc. You can do "Zack Morris"-"Kelly Kapowski", etc. Or you can do drink names. Like someone will be "Buttery" and the other person will be "Nipple". You get the drift. Its just a way to mingle and get your guests talking to each other and it helps differentiate them from other resort guests.
  21. Hailey may want to keep it b/c it will have sentimental value for her but I sincerely doubt she wants to wear her something that will remind her that her parents "do it" LOL.
  22. I never understood why it is always such a problem with shipping to Canada. I mean it's Canada not Baghdad for crying out loud.
  23. Are you going to do any site visits? If so then I would ask to see them. But if your not, honestly I wouldn't risk it. Orange is a tough color. There are so many different shades. I've read about girls on here who have asked for a specific shade of pink for their flowers from Maye and gotten the complete opposite shade (e.g. fushcia vs. light pink). I think you should try e-bay and see if you can get a discount and then maybe she'll buy them from you. If not, you could always try selling them here, on ebay or craigslist. In the alternative could you ask her to send you a pic of the shade of orange she has? Maybe this will help a little.
