Shelley I am so sorry that this happened, especially so close to the day of your wedding. I know this won't make you feel better but I went through the same thing and postponed my wedding. Granted mine's wasn't going to be until next July but I couldn't go forward with it knowing that FI's family wouldn't come. It's been hard but I know that I will find the perfect place for us to get married and I have no doubt that you will too. If you need anyone to talk to I am here for you.

Heidi I am so glad you liked the gift. And I ditto everything that Tammy said, you deserve it after everything you've been through. I just hope that it can at the very keast relieve some of your heartache. You and Reggie def deserve and need this weekend away. Christine thank you so much for putting everything together. And thank you to all the girls who opened their hearts (and wallets) to help a fellow BDWer. I love this forum, everyone is so genuine and caring.

Thank you Nicole for your honest review and thank you Juan for being a good businessman and taking responsibility. I think that shows a lot about your character and it gives faith and confidence to future brides that you are trying to remedy any problems that may have occured in the past. That being said, I still think you are an excellent photographer and your pictures are breathtakingly beautiful.

I would 100% not say anything to her. Its a gift that came from the heart (whether its your taste or not) and that's all that matters. She graciously gave you a gift and you should be gracious back and accept the gift as is. It sucks to get a gift that you may not like but I'm a firm believer in having good manners. I think it was very nice of her to get you something and even though you don't like it, I think you should wear it on special occassions when she is around so that she sees "how much you love it". You don't have to wear it outside her presence but I do think it will make her so happy to see you wear it. A good relationship with your FMIL is not something you want to give up over yellow gold. I know you are the sweetest thing ever and you are not being ungrateful and that is why I think you should suck this one up and wear it around her.

Wow it looks like you guys had so much fun! Its great that you were able to meet up and cheer Heidi up! Heidi I'm so glad to see you smiling!
