  1. Do you like braids? Maybe you could wear your hair in a nice, stylish braid during the day. It holds your hair in place and will keep it from frizzing as much. If you like having straight hair I cannot recommend getting Japanese Straightening enough. I used to have super curly hair and I got this done and I get no frizz in the humidity. It is the greatest thing ever. But this is permanent so only do this if you want your hair to be straight forever.

Girls it really was so perfect...well at least perfect for me and my personality. I don't like those bachelorette parties where you were a veil and have penis straws and your all loud and drunk and falling on yourself at a club or bar (no offense to anyone who did this, its just not me). So it was perfect b/c it had the right amount of spice but we were at a private place where I didn't have to feel self-conscious. Also, the dinner was really upscale and we had fun doing sake bombs but we weren't crazy where we were drawing attention to ourselves. Can you guys tell I don't like to be the center of attention? LOL.
  3. Oh btw the instructor told us that she sells portable poles that you can put in your home. They cost like $300 but they are portable so you don't have to damage your ceiling or get it installed or anything like that. Hehe. I would recommend a class like this to anyone b/c it is private and a fun thing to do with your girls. Also, we went to the dance studio but I think they do private parties and come to you. And they dim the lights so you feel like your really stripping at a stripclub. LOL. It was so much fun.
  4. So this weekend my sister and my friends threw me a surprise Bachelorette Party. I was running around doing a million errands on saturday and when I got to my apartment there were "Caution: Bachelorette on the Loose" signs all over the door. So I opened the door and my sister and my friends were standing there and they threw tons of glittery stuff (in the shapes of lips) on me. My entire apartment was decorated in pink, white, and black balloons. There were streamers everywhere and pink lemonade liquor drinks. I was absolutely shocked and not expecting it at all! So they rushed me into a room and made me change into fishnet stockings, a tank top from VS that said "Sexy Little Bride" and some short shorts. Then they grabbed heels for me and blindfolded me and took me in the car. When we arrived and they took off the blindfold I was in a dance studio. We took a pole dancing class! It was so much fun! But pole dancing is hard! I have a newfound respect for strippers. LOL. We got to dance to fun songs like Pussycat Dolls and Britney. And girls it is the craziest workout, I am still in pain! Also, they let us bring champagne and do toasts in the middle of the class. Then they whisked me back to the apartment and I was told to shower and wear a cute outfit. Well I had nothing to wear but my friends had all chipped in and bought me a cute navy blue dress from BCBG! Then we went out to dinner at a nice Japanese restaurant and ate yummy food and did sake bombs. It was so much fun! Lastly, we want back to my apartment and watched bridal movies starting with Father of the Bride and we ended it with a big sleepover. It was absolutely perfect, I couldn't have asked for anything more. And best of all there was no annoying penis hats or strippers or anything like that. I was soooo surprised and so shocked. I'm so thankful to my sister and my friends. I know, I know you guys want pics. I didn't take any b/c I wasn't allowed to bring anything with me and I didn't have a camera but as soon as my friends send me some pics, I will post.

  10. HAPPY BIRTHDAY Karen! Hope you and Jay celebrate in an amazing, fantabulous way!
  11. I love that bag, I own the pink one! The chanel quilt bag is classic so its a great investment. LOl. That's how you ladies have to justify it to your significant other. Tell them its an investment! Leia that really is such a beautiful gift. How awesome of FI to get that for you!
  12. Allright Maura you sold me! LOl. I'm going to have to try it but obv after my wedding. And btw I am so proud of you on the weight loss! That is awesome!
  13. Ummm yeah I went to see them two years ago in Atlantic City ( a present from FI and he came with me too!). It was the absolute best time! There were tons of teeny boppers but tons of 40 year old divorcees. It was awesome. I was the only person my age there. And FI came with me and he is about the manliest guy you can meet so it was hysterical to see his reaction. We saw them in a standing room area so we were able to get as close as we wanted. Nick Carter was singing something and all of a sudden he sees FI right in front of him and Nick made a weird face (like why am I singing to a 20 something year old guy). It was sooooooo funny! I was dying laughing. But they looked super old. Nick was out of shape and sweating like crazy. But I love all their songs. I am cheesy like that and adore them! I'm sure you will have so much fun! Enjoy.
  14. Did you check out Tammy's (the host)? Hers were so beautiful. I know a lot of girls used these. I'm off to search for you. BRB.
  15. Wow I can't believe I missed this but I hope you had an amazing anniversary with your new addition to your family! Plus you must have had some nice sunshiny weather!
  16. Btw off the top of my head I would check Nordstrom and this other site: Evening dresses, cocktail, prom dresses, gowns by eDressMe They both have lots of Nicole Miller BM's gowns. I don't know which one your looking for since I can't see the pic but maybe one of those sites will have it. Good luck.
  17. I'm so sorry but I can't see it. Did you copy the URL address and then hit the mountain looking button on the right hand corner of the post screen? You paste the URL into that section and then it will post the pic for you.
  18. I took a break from this b/c I got sick but I need to crack the whip so I will be back to this diet tomorrow. Can't wait to have that flat feeling instead of the awful full feeling I have right now. Stay strong ladies, you can do this!
  19. Well I'm not Jewish but I thought they didn't play any songs during the breaking of the glass. Do you mean a song to transition from the breaking of the glass that will exit you guys from the ceremony. Do you like Isreali music? There are a lot of great songs that can get the party started.
  20. Hi, I'm not Russian but everyone at my job is. They said you can download songs online if you know exactly what your looking for. One of my co-workers said there is tons of stuff on limewire and itunes. Also she said if you go to the stores in Brighton Beach you can get all the CD's. But again you have to know what your looking for. Don't know if this helps or not but I figured I would mention it anyway.
  21. Love the bedding stuff! That pillow looks so comfy, I really want a nap right now. I love the cake, its so cute!
  22. I know this is an older thread but if anybody wants to borrow some of my jewelery I would be happy to share.
  23. I would need full body reconstructive surgery to look good naked. LOl. But I'm glad it all worked out and that you are happy with them.

Brilliant! LOL. Except in my case it would backfire b/c they would have to go home early and I would get stuck with their workload. Hmmm I wonder what would happen if I took Alli, and did the colonix, and did the Sacred Heart diet all at once. Aside from the fact that my arse would rot out, I would probably weigh as much as Mary-Kate Olsen by August. Things to think about...
