Hey ladies! I'm bringing my own photographer down to Jamaica with me! My wedding date is August 19, 2011 and if anyone else would be interested in using her while she's there... thought it might be a possibility for some of you ladies if your wedding is that week!

Go ahead and check out her work.. she's absolutely amazing! :)

Thanks Jenn, your review was great and so helpful! at the moment I have the exact same amount of guests as you. And I am choosing Calabash for reception dinner and Mediterranean for rehearsal dinner. I can't wait to see your pics! I have a couple of questions:

1. Regarding the reception dinner, on the menu it says you can only have one or maybe two entree, was it a problem having all three and did you have to pay extra for this?

2. For your cocktail reception was the DJ continuing to play music after the ceremony? and if yes did you have to pay extra for this? did you remain on the beach for cocktail hour or move to other location?

3. What is the size of the disco, did it feel nice and intimate with the amount of guests or was the space too big?

Thanks a mil, Camilla

Hi jonesr1979,

I am going to check to see how many of the lavender and lilac laterns I have and will get back to you asap.  I think I ordered 4 of each color so I probably have 8 (in varied sizes) but I will confirm.

Thanks,

Maura

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
