I got my flowers thru the Riu and they were beautiful! Yes, some arrangements can be on the expensive side. I just didn't want to deal with bringing all my flowers with me cuz I felt like I was already bringing so much. It was more of a convenience thing for me.

Thank you! We thought the colors were fitting for the tropical setting. I have my flowers in our living room and look at them everyday and wish we were back in jamaica!

To be honest, I didn't like any of the flowers the Riu had to offer. The daisy's were nice but not what I am looking for. FH doesn't want to spend more on flowers but wants to spend more on pictures.

 

I decided to make my own silk flowers since it will only be me and FH with MOH & BestMan I'm sure can I make something equally nice that I can keep.

 

I know there were some threads...I think the links are posted wink.gif

I would love to post a pic of the Daisy's I loved them. I was sad I couldn't take them home with me. However my PC (I'm on my laptop) is still packed. So let me see if I can find a pic. Most of my wedding pics are on the other computer.

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!

      Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else.
