I just put up some pics of the sample decor at the BDR.
@@murmel Thank you for posting those instructions.
@@Aliyedwinramirez You are welcome!
@@mrsgordoncomeondown I hope you found the pics helpful.

Hello!
I put of bunch of photos in my gallery from the BDR in November.
There were quite a few weddings that weekend which I totally creeped on. I did my very best not to be intrusive and took photos just of the stuff and not of people.
I hope you ladies find the pictures helpful!

@@rebepax I just watched your wedding video-you looked so beautiful!!!
I love your choice of flowers, did you upgrade for the ribbons around the bouquets? I also adore the starfish-boutineers.
@@AllieH We used CancunTransfers when we went down for the BDR a few weeks ago. Thanks again for the recommendation.
@@carrieandsam we had a LOT of stragglers for putting down deposits and RSVPing too. We did a STD email, followed by mailed invites, followed by reminder postcards. It was a bit frustrating and stressful! You'll feel much better once the deposit deadline is over and the dust has cleared.

@@NickiLynn1116 I have the same situation, I was thinking to send my offsite WC a card, but I hadn't thought about a tip.
I like the idea of bringing envelopes with $20 and $50 to distribute as we see fit.

We are at 3pm too! Our ceremony space is covered as my FI will grt super hot.

@@calgarybride2015 wow that is a really reasonable rate! Glad they turned out.

@@JennyZ I totally know how you feel! It seems like some people have a mistrust of travel agents, and presume they can get a better deal through expedia etc.
We have some people who didn't put a deposit down by our deadline, and are now paying way more to attend. We also have some people who are staying elsewhere because our resort is sold out for most of our wedding week. This is disappointing, and do feel a bit guilty about how much money people are spending.

@@cocosho wishing you the best with your final preparations.

@@carrieandsam we are using PhotoStudioAB, they were recommended by people we know. Our first choice was Matais Cano, who is one of the approved photographers, but he is too pricey for us.
@@Tiffany Fox sorry to learn you weren't happy with Caribe. Hopefully your friends and family took lots of photos of your wonderful wedding!

Hi @@murmel thanks for the transfer info. Congratulations on the arrival of your little one.

@@Tiffany Fox I'm glad you guys had a fun night at the mojito bar, we are planning to head there after our reception too. I'm sad to learn the DJ is crummy, I'm not sure if I want to pay my DJ extra to stay.
@@kmk2016 your cocktail reception sounds really nice, I'm sure your guests will appreciate it.

@@Tiffany Fox you looked so beautiful! I'm so glad your day was winderful!

We are going to ask the MOH and best man to do speeches, plus all our parents want to say something which will be three speeches as my parents are divorced and can't do anything together (fun). Then we will say thanks and that will be that!
-
We are also doing a MS and FD dances at the same time. We are not doing a garder toss as I have never liked the idea of my husband removing my lingerie in front of our families and then sharing it with his friends.......
We really want to do the shoe game, but I'm not sure who to ask to do it. We are using the DJ as our MC but I think someone who knowsnus would be a better choice.

Our group package is similar to @@calgarybride2015 and @@kmk2016, we have seven departure cities included. The prices varied slightly, all within $200 for a one week stay and airfare. Unfortunately a few cities had different departure dates, so our friends from Vancouver will arrive a day before the majority of the group, and our friends from Ottawa will arrive a day later.

Congratulations and best wishes to you and your new husband!

Wedding this past Sat was PERFECT!!!!!! I brought 4 huge suitcases of decorations for both the ceremony and reception. The coordinators took the decorations, jotted down directions and I left. I was a NERVOUS wreck!!!!!
Wedding day came!!! My dress was steamed and delivered to my room. It was beautiful!!!! The ceremony decor was EXACTLY how I had envisioned!!!! They NAILED IT!!! The reception decor was PERFECT!!! They did an amazingggggggg job!!!
I had 70 guests and there wasn't a dry eye on the beach!!! I even had about 25 onlookers to stand at the glass railing and watch the entire ceremony.
The resort, weather, service, spa, staff..... It was all TOO PERFECT!!!!!
Customs did check my bags!! Saw that they were full of decorations and didn't unwrap things. They just asked what items were. They probably see these things all day. They were very swift and did not rearrange the bags or unpack them.

I'm planning to bring a lot of stuff for my wedding, and I'll bring receipts for anything possible. I think if you have a receipt and you aren't leaving anything in Mexico it should be ok.
-
@@nadiakat17 I don't think I would mind the arrangement you decribed with your family, but it sure would be nice to have a break with your hubby somewhere private if possible.
I read somewhere that 75% of couples don't get busy on their wedding night, but kudos to those who do!

@@Lia33 I know what you mean! We are bugging all our invitees to let us know if they will be attending, so we can plan our event! Some people seem surprised that they need to rsvp.
I don't want to be rude and harass people, but if they want a chair to sit on and food they do need to let us know they will be showing up...

@@Ydolem Those are little bottles of Patron! We are using maracas for the escort table for Mexican flare! What are you doing for your favours?
We are actually thinking of using luggage tags as our escort cards so that they will double as wedding favours. So we really appreciate the info about where you got yours, they are really nice.
We're doing OoT bags too.
The maracas will be so fun!
It's Canadian Thanksgiving, so best wishes to everyone here regardless of if you are eating turkey today.

@@rebepax thank you! We are thinking to us them as our escort cards/wedding favours.
PS. What's in the bottle?
