My fiance has pretty much let me plan everything, but he did ask that our first dance be a song of his choice. He wants "Lifetime" by Ziggy Marley. Definitely not what I imagined my first dance song to be, but the words are so heartfelt and I love the fact he wanted to choose something that was so important. We use CHASE bank and do this too! We have been saving since January and cant believe how much we have saved up already!!!!! We also got our first joint credit card through Chase, the UNITED EXPLORER card. This way all wedding items go on it, but we only buy what we can pay off immediately. And we are accumulating miles for free future trips! Too bad we didnt have the card back when I bought my wedding dress, LOL!

We are doing persian plum (its a color from the dessy.com line), silver, gray, and ivory.

ALSO, does anyone know what the standard (free, included) table cloths the resort uses look like? I guess Im really asking what type of fabric and color (white, ivory, etc) is it? Was it satin, polyster?? Thanks!

From what I understood from the email from Gabi @ planner 1 . . the $200 is for the curtain and hanging of just the back portion of the chuppah!

ATTENTION PREVIOUS SMB BRIDES: Does anyone know the size of the round tables used for the reception? I am bringing my own table cloths and overlays (much less expensive and I am a bit picky, lol) . . but need to know the size to bring. Cecillia told me the tables seat 8-10 people, but did not tell me the size. Can anyone PLEASE HELP me so I can get them ordered? By the way, weddinglinensdirect.com has chair sashes super cheap. I ordered samples of 8 different ones (my color is quite unique), and they were delivered in less than a week, and several matched my colors exactly. Right now they are on sale too (mine come out to .56 cents each, in packages of 10). Cant beat the price, and they have more colors than any other site I have seen! Thanks ladies!

You can buy brown paper bags at Michaels or Hobby Lobby in packs of 6 for around $3 . .and just decorate them as your bags to hold all of your OOT items too! Maybe have your monogram put on stickers and put on the bag. Or create a tag to hang off the bag.

definitely the mugs!!! Most people already assume to bring a lightweight beach bag when they go to a resort . . but many dont think about a mug. These allow you to keep your drink cooler, holds usually twice as much as most cups resorts pour (so two drinks in one), and has a top to keep bugs and sand out. . . . definitely a nice perk!

Planner 1 Events has quoted me $200 for hanging curtain on the beach chuppah ( but only for the back panel)! I asked for a quote with a bead chandelier also!
