  1. I just bought 50 badge holders from Amazon for $12. Not as cheap as what other girls paid off ebay, but I have a Prime membership and did not have to pay shipping. You can get the OTC bracelets with whistles off of Amazon too, for only $1 more. This came in handy because I JUST ordered a bunch of stuff from OTC and qualified for free shipping--I didn't want to have to go back and pay shipping on a $20 order.
  2. CLGriffi, your wording was very classy! We decided not to register, and I made it known as early as possible for our guests. We're very fortunate that most of our family and friends can make the trip, so I'm sticking with the "no gifts" rule. I honestly and truly do not want a shower, so I refuse to register!
  3. Update- I decided to go with a less fancy design on FavorWarehouse, and I actually think it's WAY cuter! I'll post pics as soon as I can. I paid $1.40 per item and got a deck of cards in a plastic box, with a customized sticker. I ordered yesterday and they arrived today. Can't beat it.
  4. I think that even if all of my guests don't use them, they will appreciate the thought!
  5. Awesome--I'll have to hit up BJ's and then make some cute labels!
  6. Thanks to Allyson--I love how I can find whatever I need on this site because you guys have already thought of it!
  7. www.favorwarehouse.com has customizeable cards for as low as $2.19 per pack. I needed 48, but it was cheaper to buy 60! I'm paying $1.59 each plus about $15 for shipping.
  8. So cute! I'm looking for a phrase for my cards, and I might just CASE your idea too! Too funny.
  9. Boo, they must have sold out! The link doesn't work anymore.
  10. What a great idea! I had planned to buy some overpriced custom lip balms from one of the wedding sites, but I like your idea better!
  11. I also ordered some drink koozies. So far, the best deal I found was at www.Totallyweddingkoozies.com. They have great designs and will send you a proof before you order.
  12. Great ideas! I bought the Hibiscus bags from Oriental Trading--got the idea from another bride on this site. They came in the other day, and I'm quite pleased with them! They're fairly large and sturdier than I had hoped for. I'm in the stages now of figuring out what to put in them.
  13. I got these flip flops too! Mine are from David's Bridal. I think they were about $12 and they come in different colors. Still looking for a fancy heel for the reception...
  14. What a fun idea! These are gorgeous, but my first thought was what if I buy them and they're uncomfortable! Ahhhh
  15. Those Jimmy Choos are HOT!

    Shoes!!

I don't think that's a silly question! You just have to commit either way... flats or small heels, or heels and hiking up your dress in the sand!
  17. Same here, the civil ceremony just seemed to be much more hassle than it's worth. My FI and I feel that the Dominican ceremony is the real one, and that's all that matters. The civil ceremony is just a formality.
